How to unlock the Head on Arrival achievement in SPLATTERHOUSE - Definitive Guide

Best way to go is : Upgrade your grab skills so you can rip any enemy's head off by pressing B+hold B once decapitation process is complete pick head up as weapon (down on d-pad) hold Y to throw, aim with LS. I found it easiest with those raptor bloodhound creatures where you need to pin 'em down on spikes to advance. As they spawn non-stop untill all are (sodomized).P.S You can also upgrade your throws to get maximum impact.

thanks for telling us how to actually decapitate didnt see it anywhere in my upgrade menu. another spot i found is chapter 1 when the wall fish heads laugh at you (the area where weapons are introduced) just dont go through the fire pit its all the small creatures you mentioned infinite spawning. nice open room.

There are a few ways to dismember enemy heads. Performing a Splatterkill against the Tentacle Arm Demon with Horns (yes I named it that) will earn you their head as a weapon. Another way is to use a Cleaver to cut off an enemy's head, specifically the lesser demons with spikes around their body.

Once you've obtained an enemy head, kill them either by swinging it or throwing them at enemies; done by holding . The "Power Head Throw" upgrade, under the Weapons Tab is helpful towards this trophy as it significantly improves the damage from thrown heads.

Kill 50 enemies using a combination of both methods and the trophy will unlock. You can keep track of your progress at any time by accessing the in-game Stats Menu via , under "Kills with Enemy heads".

There are a few ways to get enemy heads. The demons with the tentacle arm can be killed with a Splatterkill, giving you their head as a weapon. If you have 'Tear you to Pieces', you can also perform 'Stretchin' Necks' by pressing  to grapple the enemy and then pressing and holding  until you perform the move. The move 'Power Head Throw' from the Weapons upgrade group is helpful as well towards this achievement. A good place to get head kills is in Phase 4 in the room with the 4 chairs you slam enemies onto. Slam 3 onto chairs, and only 1 enemy will continue to spawn. Use Stretchin' Necks to remove his head, and kill his replacement with the head.

It farms well at the end of the third level at the moment with the mouth, until you feed it - enemies will spawn endlessly, one will be with a cleaver, you need to kill him first, pick up the cleaver and chop heads. In the process there will be enough cutlasses, heads will be chopped off with a bang. Knocked out of the checkpoint on three restarts during the first playthrough (at the same time, you can easily get 500 kills for Triuph of Iron)
