How to unlock the One Who Slays achievement in SPLATTERHOUSE - Definitive Guide

Berserker mod is when you press LB when your mask meter is full or near full. You have to kill 300 enemies in this mode. You can go through the game and try to get 300 but that will just eat up your mask meter and you may need it for more important things. If you want to spam this, do it right at the beginning of the game. Right when you are able to control Rick, you are in unlimited Berserker mode. There are 36 enemies to kill. After you kill them, QUIT and start again. The 36 that you kill will still count. Do this 9 times and it will unlock. Alternatively if you this method is boring, you can play game through once and whatever you need to get this achievement, you can use this method.

I have 313 berserker kills and no achievement. Anyone else having this problem?

This Achievement has been said to be somewhat glitched. Sometimes it takes a little bit more than 300 kills. So, load up the first chapter and keep playing the first scene until the achievement unlocks. My achievement unlocked at around 320 kills.

Just go into Beserker mode (LB) and get 300 kills. It's pretty self-explanitory and simple. Just play through the game as usual.
If you don't get it on one playthrough, just replay the very first fight on the first Phase. You are automatically in Beserker mode and it's infinite. Plus, there's 30+ enemies to kill.
Whenever the clipscene starts up after everyone's dead, just press Start and select "Quit". Then at the main menu select "Select Chapter" and chosse the first one again. Just spam-kill these enemies until you hear the "pop" of your new achievement.

To add whith what has been said already, if you have played the game earlier and have unlocked the splatter smash and splatter slash, you can use them in the first mission (where you have unlimited berserker) to get the 100 splatter slash and 100 splatter smash achievements, as they will still count as both this achievements and the specific ones (Razor Of Hell and Downpour Of Blood) and won't run out of mask power.
It worked for me.

After completing Phase 2 for the first time you will unlock Beserker Mode, something you get a small taste of at the very beginning of the game. Once this is unlocked you can activate Beserker Mode by tapping , provided you have at least 3 Necro Bars filled. The Phase 1 Foyer is once again a good place to get kills. The kills still count even if you quit the level afterwords and restart.

Berserker Mode: with at least 3 slots of the Necro Bar filled up.

You will gain access to Berserker Mode after completing Phase 2. To activate, press when you have at least 3 slots filled in your Necro Meter. Remember you can always cancel Berserker Mode by pressing again to save up on your Necro Bar. Simply kill 300 enemies while in Berserker Mode and the trophy will unlock. You can keep track of your progress at any time by accessing the in-game Stats Menu via , under "Kills while in Berserker mode".

If you wish to grind this out or for some reason still haven't killed 300 enemies by the end of your second playthrough, you can keep replaying Phase 1, as you basically begin in Berserker Mode. Finish the battle, let the game save, then rinse and repeat till you have the 300.

You must open Berserk mode and when the Nectrometer has 3 full bars press to activate activate the mode. In this state, place 300 monsters.
