I suggest you turn off cross-play because PC player are either hacker or try hard with portal . When i had cross-play on was a bit harder only average 1 score a game with it off i average 3 a game. You're more likely to face bots too with cross-play off. the only con is the waiting time. But if you're struggling it's worth the waiting if you are gonna get 0 score anyway


Pro tip: Never use LT don't aim just learn to blind fire. There barely any recoil on AR or Carbine so you don't need to use LT. While you blindfire just move right or left constantly and sometime use your jetback while blindfiring.. Once you master blindfiring you can literally try hard and get 20+ kill a game . Edit: If you're in the middle of a fight and run out of ammo don't wait to reload press Y quickly and switch gun (happens a lot)

I barely use portal but i always use my RB to make portal on safe spot and use my LB to retreat or to recover . You don't want to retreat on foot use portal to retreat

But if you are an expert of using portal keep doing portal kill and other portal stuff..
