Viri are “power-ups” that appear as you destroy blocks and they are represented with a skull and crossbones. They usually give out negative effects like not being able to place bombs, slow you down, speed you up excessively, etc. I would recommend using a map like Sanatorium that has a lot of destructible blocks. Do not collect the viri “power-ups” until you have at least four on the screen (power-ups can be destroyed by bombs, so be careful). When you have 4 or more viri on screen, collect them all as quickly as possible to unlock this.
