It’s much easier to unlock this trophy with 2 controllers. With your first controller, head to a dead-end. Have your second controller place a bomb to commit suicide, and immediately after that, place a bomb to trap yourself. Since you’re trapped, it’s considered a “certain death” for you, but since the second controller will blow itself up before it explodes, you’ll win and earn this trophy.
