In my experience, if you previously played the game prior to the title update, the kills will not be accumulative. Meaning that your kill counter will start at 0 again.
It took me roughly 25 miniutes to unlock all the title update achievments from scratch.
Just sit back and think about that cheese board you had a few month back, or anything else to keep your mind occupied while you mindlessly grind kills.

Thank you for the tips. I honestly don't understand why people downvote. If you want the easy gamerscore, then you have to work for it.
