How to unlock the It's Cold Out Here achievement in SSX - Definitive Guide
Choose this event, and make sure you are NOT do not solar panels. HOWEVER, equip the best wingsuit you own! You should have a very low survival probability (4%).
Just take your time down the hill. The hardest part is learning when and how to use your wingsuit. It could take a lot of practice and patience, but eventually you will get it. After going over the first biggest jump, you will need to stick the the right hand side for most of the run, and try to fly over any large sections of shade. See the video for the best explanation.
Also, you are allowed 3 total rewinds, if you ever take a bad turn, and they will not prevent you from attaining the achievement. You cannot use them once you fail.
Follow the route, and string together a perfect run with your wingsuit! Patience necessary.
Complete Deadly Descent: Cold in Antarctica, Mount Slaughter - Dreadnaught without equipping a Solar Panel. A poll on this site rated this the most difficult Deadly Descent. If you have not previously completed this event, you will be playing as Moby. The easiest way to complete this challenge is to equip a wingsuit and soar over a certain path. Core Temperature will not regenerate in the sun the way Health does if you do not take more damage in a certain time frame, so stopping will not help you much. Accumulate lots of boost and keep to the right of the stage. There are videos online of people earning this trophy with Moby, without using the wingsuit, but I think this is better for guide purposes as he talks you through the run and explains things to aim for. Use this as a general guideline as far as route to take, but he goes through a lot of shadows that can be easily avoided, especially at the beginning.
It won’t work like that on xbox, you need to choose Alex, preferably level 11. Yellow jacket,
equipment - claws. You don't have to spin at all.
You need to roll in places where the sun is shining, do not drive into the shade. In the middle where it flies in the video
here you need to slide along the rock from the right, as far as possible. If you get lost, go back to the rock and take a ride
cliff, jump the second time again to the right. At the helicopter, look where the sun is and jump
towards the sunny side. Well, a speed board is better/ You don’t need to spin around to warm up, it doesn’t affect it. There is only sun and shadow.
