Star Ocean: The Last Hope International

Obtain all 900 battle trophies. Each character in the game has a total of 100 battle trophies to obtain. Most of these battle trophies will unlock naturally just by playing as that character over the course of the game. The AI can help you obtain some battle trophies such as getting kills etc, but the battle trophy won't unlock till you selected that character and finish a battle. For example, I haven't used Reimi since I left Planet Aeos and when I got to the Place of Creation near the end of the game. I selected Reimi since Edged died and I interrupted an enemy's casting and got Reimi's battle trophies for interrupt an enemy's casting 44, 99, 144, 200, and 255 times at the end of the battle. Another tip is to return to areas you previously explored and set everyone on manual, then you can do your battle trophy business without your AI party interrupting you such as pulling off 1,000 blindsides, attack first 50 time in a row, get the last kill 30 times, land 85 consecutive long-range attacks, etc.

The main character that you should be concerned about is really Faize. This is due to the fact that he leaves your party during your first playthrough. Although during your second and later playthroughs, you can choose to keep him to work on his battle trophies. However, if you missed the World's Biggest Welch Fan trophy during your first playthrough or even second playthrough, then always select Arumat so you can knock off that annoying item fetching trophy.

These battle trophies can be worked on over multiple playthroughs, but the battle trophies statistics aren't carried over. Take the kill battle trophies for example, If Edge killed 8,000 enemies and I restart my game on Universe Mode and transfer my data and killed another 8000. I will not get the battle trophy for Edge's kill 15,000 enemies. So it's best to focus on getting all the statistic battle trophies out of the way first before moving on to another saved game. I found it more effective and efficient that way. If you have obtained different battle trophies on different saves, then don't fright because the save data transfer will transfer over all battle trophies onto a new game.
