To earn this achievement, all you need to do is climb up in the Colosseum ranks, until you get to the TOP 10 rank. It's fairly simple to do, but for some strategy....
Do Solo Mode, Use Edge (Or Meracle)
Be at least Level 100. (good places to level are nox obscurus and the seven stars bonus dungeon)
Most the enemies are simple, i only had a problem with the monster on RANK 2 (Which is well after you get this achievement.)

I'm guessing this is the same as your Top Rank solution, but for anyone reading this... Top 10 is do-able by level 60, not problem. So if you're wanting it before starting a grind, hit it up.

The strategy i used for this is i did solo mode with Edge (Meracle is also a good competitor)
I equipped Edge with HP boost lvl 10 and Crtical Hit lvl10 and teached him berserk as berserk when entering rush mode is incredibly powerful
Blindside when you have the oppurtunity with enemies however some enemies will counter your blindside
Using HP boost lvl 10 i was able to get to rank 4 in the colosseum at level 54 (HP around 19,000)

I found Reimi to be great on solo, and she was only L62 when I won. Her bow lets her both avoid melee attacks and avoid the vulnerable period that a symbologist would have. Make sure you have items to be immune from void and silence, and a regeneration symbol paired with L10 Auto Healing and L10 HP Boost. I had also synthed a Slayer's Bangle to her equipment for the extra damage towards the end. Spam Sonic Thorns/Squall/Hunter's Edge (alternately Seraphic Thunder for some enemies) and take your time for the win.

Its a simple achievement to earn. I used Edge, Sarah, Arumat, and Riemi to get this achievement. They were levels 79-83. I used Arumat's Roaring Dragon with Berserk Skill to steady climb through the ranks all the way to #2 using that strategy. Also, Disable all the offensive magic attacks for Sarah (which will make her focus on healing), Edge, and Riemi. When u reach number #2 and wonder why you cant face #1 Wandering Swordman, it is because need more Battle points, NOT COINS, ....just fight the Gelimi Dragons about 6-8 times then #1 will open up and u can face him.
