How to unlock the Ship Savant achievement in Star Ocean: The Last Hope - Definitive Guide
To collect ship data, you must simply inspect a computer that displays information on one of the games ships. Finding these computers, however, may prove difficult.
Here is a list of the ship data you can collect, in the order it can be collected. Data that can be missed is noted as such in the descriptions that follow:
1) 01: SRF 003 Calnus
2) 04: SRF 001 Aquila
3) 06: SRF 002 Balena
4) 07: SRF 004 Dentdelion
5) 08: SRF 005 Eremia
6) 12: Zagzagel
7) 15: Rednuht
8) 16: Sol
9) 20: Cardianon Landing Ship
10) 21: Cardianon Mothership
11) 02: Calnus-II
12) 17: Morphus Battleship
13) 18: Morphus Exploration Craft
14) 19: Morphus Escape Pod
15) 22: Cardianon Battleship
16) 03: Calnus-III
17) 05: Aquila-B
18) 09: Phantom Craft
19) 10: USTA Warship
20) 13: Zamzagiel
21) 14: Dominion
22) 11: Calnus (USTA Transport)
1) 2) Check the monitors around the flight deck of the Calnus. Available after first landing on Aeos and returning to the Calnus.
3) 4) 5) Exploration Base on Aeos, north wing (where Captain Grafton resides). Make sure you get these right after you beat Armaros, as they will disappear later (your very last chance will be right after you complete the Cardianon Mothership but before you try to leave for EN II).
6) 7) 8) Exploration Base on Aeos, southern wing. Availability is the same deal as the previous instructions.
9) In the Celestial Ship on Lemuris, near a recovery sphere.
10) On the Cardianon Mothership, proceed until you reach the large room with the monitor (triggering a cutscene). The data for the ship is found on the west side of the room. DEFINITELY get this before completing the ship (or even proceeding from this room).
11) It's possible that this data is available earlier, but I got it right after leaving the Cardianon Mothership but before trying to leave for EN II. It's located in the Exploration Base on Aeos, in the northern wing. Get this one too before trying to fly to EN II, or it will be gone.
12) 13) 14) 15) Way the heck later on EN II, use the elevator to reach Monitor Room B. Check the spinning disks here for the data.
16) 17) 18) 19) 20) 21) After landing on Nox Obscuris, head back to Monitor Room B on EN II and check the same disks for more data.
22) Complete the game, save, and return to Monitor Room B a final time for this last bit of data.

To add, you can get #11 after you beat the game in monitor room B in En II if you missed it on Aeos like I did

On my current playthrough, I missed ship data #11 and have beaten the game; It's not in Monitor Room B. Are you sure you are able to get it here if you miss it earlier?

There are 22 ships to discover information on. Inspecting terminals around the world will give you the information you need. For a list and how to find each piece of data, see this thread.
