I am guessing it is bugged as there are at least 11 tracked gamers over on TrueTrophies that have it. 11 doesn't seem much but there are only 500 odd people tracked playing it over there so the sample size is considerably smaller lol.
Though of course the possibility they managed to do something we haven't exists so I wont rule it out until I know for sure! But yeah, seems more likely it's a bug on our end.
(I do know some Ps4 players are having the same problem so ontop of it being potentially just buggy and/or other requirements unknown I'm also wondering if it got broken in a maintenance patch for them after being unlockable to start or something. Who knows. Either way hope it's fixed soon and double fingers crossed for auto pop rather than needing to gain the accolade again).

I just finished the Midnight Mission and got the in-game accolade, but no achievement pop. This game is so buggy, but to have it bugged so bad that the final story mission doesn't award the achievement is a bit much
