Get 150 kills in successful matches of Survival

How to unlock the A good blaster at your side achievement in STAR WARS Battlefront - Definitive Guide

Its not really a solution but more some info complete any survival mission and get 150 kills
I got this playing the rebel depot on hard difficulty and you can get this easy
I killed 194 enemies more then enough for the Achievement
You don't have to worry if you get killed just remember that you have to complete all 15 waves after the last wave the Achievements unlocks
Good luck and may the force be with you

Does anyone know if it's retroactive? I've completed all of the survival modes already, do I start at 0 or get credit for what has been done already?

I would be started at 0 as u will have killed over 150 kills over the four original maps on the standard game

Needs to be from scratch and on hard so there are enough bad guys.

So this needs to be done in a single game of Survival? Not cumulative?

It is cumulative. A match on Hoth normal gives you 102 kills. Took me two matches and it popped.

You can get this achievement without purchasing the DLC. 1 match on Hard got me 190+ kills and the achievement. "Patience you must have" achievement is gaining progress as well. The other 3 achievements in the Outer Rim pack would require purchase.

I am also confirming that it is cumulative.

by the way this needs to be done solo, tried co-op and wasn't registering, only when solo

Just a clarification, it doesn't NEED to be done solo, but only the host will register progress on the achievement. Your partner will not.

Was a partner for 91% progress on my host's achievement. :|

You don't need to do all the kills in one mission. But you need to finish the waves in order to have the kills tracked.

One major point that most of the solutions here seem to miss is the fact that you NEED to do this in survival singleplayer! I played more than 5 matches in survival with a friend of mine after the DLC came out and i did certainly more than 200+ kills and still no achievement.

As a sidenote, i recommend to use either map where you can hide somewhere without too much enemy presence and play it on normal (no need to make things harder on you). I recommend Hoth Base Alpha (the first Hoth map of the Original Game). Just camp in the hangar where you could stay for the easy general akhbar and 25 minutes completion.
I recommend some kind of healing skill, Ion Torpedo or Grenade and Ion charged shots or personal shield. It is easy if you can evade the shadow troopers, especially on normal.

you dont even need the dlc to get this achievement i dont have the dlc and i got it just by playing the survival missions in solo on normal difficulty But like the other guys said in their posts you have to do all15 waves for the kills to count happy hunting hope this helps ps i killed a lot more than 150 enemies think some achievements take a few minutes to pop so dont worry just keep going until it does

You need to finish the 15 waves of the Survival maps so that the kills can count. Depeding on the difficulty, you can get this in just one map.

On a side note, you don't need to own the DLC to get this.
