Crush them with one swift stroke…
Trample 25 soldiers with an AT-ST (Multiplayer)
How to unlock the Crush them with one swift stroke… achievement in STAR WARS Battlefront - Definitive Guide
Greetings Stormtroopers! Load up either Walker Assault or Supremacy. My strategy is for Walker Assault but either would work. You must be on the Empire side to get access to the AT-ST. The AT-ST "Chicken Walker" is a vehicle pick-up that you must grab when running around on the map. The pick-up has an image of the AT-ST. It looks like this:
Run up to it, then press and at the same time. You will then spawn in the vehicle. (Note: If you have another pickup equipped, you can hold at the pickup to swap).
Now that you're in the AT-ST, you are ready to go. Attempt to flank around the outside of the map. THE AT-ST CAN SPRINT just like infantry. You have to press in and hold The vehicle has mediocre armor and the enemy will be concentrating their fire on you due to the size of the walker. Head towards the enemy Uplink Stations and you will usually find rebel scum defending. You are essentially "road killing" but stepping on them instead. It will say that you TRAMPLED the enemy when you pull it off correctly. Flatten 25 rebel traitors and the achievement is yours. Hoth is particularly nice due to the fact that Rebels like to hide in the trenches. Come at them from the side and squish them! Kills do not have to be obtained in one match, it is cumulative.

I haven't tried this in a while but this is painfully difficult. I was playing Battlefront hard in December and January, I played a lot of Walker Assault, Supremacy was my favourite for weeks, and I was all over Turning Point when it launched.
I had lots of times in the AT-ST and would focus on trampling enemies every time.
Some games the enemy team were coordinated and would concentrate anti vehicle fire on me, anti vehicle turret, it became difficult to withstand damage to even get into the swarms of infantry, which in some games the infantry are quite stretched anyway.
Finally in Turning Point at the final defensive point, when all the enemy are chunked behind the containers and the final defensive point, I've ran along a huge swarm of them and I trampled one, out of like 12 people!!! I was sprinting and sometimes walking but I just couldn't trample these guys. The feet literally must land perfectly on them and I haven't been finding that very easy.
I dropped Battlefront for a while but I'm just getting back into it, new DLC is meh but I look forward to Death Star, whether I'll be able to win this achievement is a big doubt tbh. I'll keep working at it

Yo Folks,
I just got this achievement after playing a few games starting from 0 trample kills and i would love to share with my TA community how i did it ..
I tried to do the kills for hours and hours in Walker Assault and Supremacy but never got close to an enemy before getting shred to pieces .. also the tokens for ATST where hard to spot or to get as all people who try to get this achievement are playing these gamemodes and are looking for it as well.
The best and by far easiest way is TurningPoint on Jakku (its a DLC you have to get .. no worries .. its free).
!! Credits to TheFourthHunter for pointing out Turning Point as the best gamemode in the above solution's comments !!
When on the Imperial side (ATST's are imperial vehicles NOT rebel's) you start with defending 3 points .. in this first "wave" no ATST tokens will spawn but after the first of those defend point is taken, you get up to 3 further "fallback" waves of 1 or 2 spots you have to defend and each fallback wave has its own ATST spawnlocation.
Below a very handy movie for showing the 3 locations .. check it and memorize the locations but after playing the gamemode a few times you'll find the spots quiet fast and easy.
The average amount of trample kills per match where between 8-10 .. It is cumulative so just play a couple of imperial rounds and .. Bob's your uncle
Hope you get the trample kills as quick as i did ..
May the Force be with you ... always !!
-----
Edit 1 : The pick-up token takes 20 seconds to respawn (roughly) after death. (thanx left 4 zaneage)

I sometimes respawned next to it

This is very clever, they tend to bunch up here and especially on the last control point the defenders almost always win and the attackers will be preoccupied for easy stealth (as much as an AT-ST can be) kill from the sides and behind flanking.
A simple stroll around the sides and into the middle will often kill 2-3 and groups of 4-5 as well as walking over the defending point for a few kills here.
The first two points will not net many kills as there is lots of space and you will die and respawn in far locations. But the last point will spawn you less than 6 seconds from the pick up and nobody will challenge you for it normally. just keep running at enemies because you will die from speeders and rockets quite easily and the sprint if really difficult to use but you can get back into and AT-ST within 30 seconds and just start over.
I did this in two games, the first i got 5 squishes and barely got into an AT-ST then my second game i camped the spawns, focussed on stepping and got 22 squishes using maybe over 10 AT-STs

By far the best way ! Great solution

Nameless Saint and I figured a great/fast way to boost this.
Walker Assault on Endor
From Imperial spawn facing Rebel spawn, quickly boost jump diagonal-forward-left to cross the creekbed and reach building entrance. The ATST token will be near the left corner of the door (It will respawn there for awhile if ATST goes down so camp it if you don't get it at start).
Once you have ATST, go to far right of map (a little forward of spawn) you will see a platform/bridge, with two Imperial shuttles on top. Go under the platform and wait. Rebels rarely go down that path and you cant be seen otherwise (i.e., no ion torpedos) Plus, if your assigned Imperial partner chooses to spawn near you, they will actually spawn on top of the platform so they won't inadvertently spoil your boosting. The rest of the time, just wait for your Rebel boosting-buddy to head to his far left of map and come to you to get squashed.
The rebel boosting buddy should call out when they are close, so the ATST knows to shoot any other rebel wandering off the path.
In rotation, the map before it is Tatoonie. We got it in about two rounds each as ATST. It is also a great place to boost other achievements.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do you match up with your buddy being on the opposite team?

That buddy is Nameless Saint This is the best way to do this achievement :)

Just to add on to other solutions personally I found it easier getting the kills on the Tatooine walker assault map because of its many narrow paths in the rocks around the uplinks (especially the first). Also just memorize the AT ST spawning points and it will help greatly as I was able to get around 10 walkers a game because I knew exactly where they would spawn each time the uplinks were moved back. Honestly this achievement wasn't too bad because for some reason most just stood there and shot at me but if they have a lot of ships in the air and your team has none be aware that they will most likely target you. Good luck and may the force be with you!
This trophy is only attainable by playing on the imperial team.
So the best way I found to get this was to load up Walker Assault and just like the That Got Him Trophy, memorize the location of the AT-ST pickup. If someone else already has it then just wait in the spot it spawns and you'll have it next.
Once you get the pickup call in the AT-ST support, just remember you only have 12 seconds to call it in by holding down & at the same time before you lose it. You'll also lose it if you are killed whilst in possession of it too so if you start getting shot at... RUN!.. Take cover and call it in.
Once you've spawned in the vehicle start marching out towards the enemy lines! This is a pain in the arse as you spawn WAY behind the walkers so it takes a while to get up front. I only found this out recently that if you hold down , you can sprint! I'd imagine many people have simply tried clicking it in once and it doesn't do anything but if you hold it down, it works! Much time saved!
As tempting as it may be hold off on the weapon fire, unless people start shooting you with turret guns. (this is gonna kill you off pretty quick which will set you back to the start as a soldier). Try and run towards the rebel troops and literally just walk over them, crushing them beneath your feet. Do this to 25 different enemies and the trophy will pop.
You'll know whether a kill counts towards the total because you'll get a little message pop up on the left along with your combat score for the kill saying "Enemy trampled".
Every time you die whilst operating the AT-ST start to run straight back to where the pickup spawns, there will be a 15-20 second delay before it reappears. If you can get straight back to it, there's no reason that you can't spawn between 3-5 times PER match. (that's what I did and I got the trophy over the course of a few matches).
This one can be a little annoying as EVERYONE tries to target you when you're in this vehicle, just be on the lookout for enemies operating turrets & up high to places you can't access... make sure you kill these guys using weapons as you won't be able to trample them but they'll just keep pounding away at your health.
It's best to play for this trophy on maps like Hoth or any others where there are trenches for the enemy to hide in as you can just waltz right through them plowing down anything that gets under your feet.
Have patience and keep at it, sometimes it's a little glitchy and it'll look as though you've trampled someone but they somehow escaped it. Just change direction and go back for another go!
Good luck guys! If you have any questions, need help or if I've missed anything out then please comment!

Quick Note: Every time the walkers and bombed and then attacked, all the action moves UP the map towards the next set of uplinks. The spawn points for TIE fighters and AT-ST's etc will all move too! I was stood around for a good 5 minutes waiting for a spawn before it suddenly dawned on me that they'd moved UP the map so try and memorize each different location depending on the development of the match.

You must play on the Imperial team in Walker Assault, Supremacy or Turning Point on Jakku. The easiest way to get this is to keep joining a Turning Point on Jakku lobby until you are on the Imperial team, and memorize the locations of the AT-ST spawn points. From 0 to 25 kills took me less than two hours doing this strategy.
Turning Point has 4 stages. The 1st stage has you defending 3 control points. There is no AT-ST spawn here. The 2nd and 3rd stages have you defending 2 control points, and the 4th stage has you defending 1 control point. Here is factor747's guide to showing where each of the 3 AT-ST spawn points are for stages 2-4.
The great thing about Turning Point is the rebels are all so focused on getting to the 1 or 2 control points that they don't often see your AT-ST bearing down on them. There is also enough cover on the Jakku map to make it hard for them to fire ion torpedoes, but not so much that you get stuck while moving around. All the rebels are outside too, with no interiors for them to hide in. Using the sprint button, , is key to taking them by surprise. In one game I managed 14 tramples. As I mentioned at the beginning, 0 to 25 kills took me less than two hours. Some games you get lucky with nobody fighting you for the spawn, and with rebels ill-equipped to take you down quickly. Other games you get unlucky with pilots bombarding you with rockets or suicide dive-bombing, or the game ending with an imperial victory in stage 1, or maybe the rebels advance so quickly to win the game that there aren't many spawns to use. Still, it's a lot better than trying this in Supremacy or Walker Assault.

If your team is told to pull back because the rebels have captured a control point, you must head for the next spawn point, After the AT-ST is destroyed, it will respawn in about 20 seconds, so get back there quickly. Once you get the power-up, you have about 12 seconds to initiate it with + .
