Capture three droids in a match of Droid Run

How to unlock the "Gonk? Gonk!" achievement in STAR WARS Battlefront - Definitive Guide

Droid Run is a terrortories like game mode where there are 3 Gonk droids that you hold cn_X on to take control and then there is a countdown that fills up until you actually take capture. From my experience you only need to capture 3 at any time in a match and not as I first though capture and keep all 3 at once. This must be done in one match, but luckily you do not need to fully capture them and only take control initially by holding cn_X.

These matches are fairly chaotic and relies somewhat on teamwork. Take control of a droid and then stay near it to retake it if the enemy team takes it or you can try and run and gun it and rush to points to take control and hope that the enemy team fails to stop you capturing which is what I did.

Here's a video with a few captures to show you what to do

Simply put, capture a droid three (3) times. It does not have to be all three (3) that are available (A, B, and C), at one time. You only have to CAPTURE - the definition of capture is to activate the droid - a droid (can be the same one) three times in the same play-through. For it to be the same one, obviously, the other side will have to re-capture it. To activate it, use cn_X on the droid.

Relatively easy achievement. Best strategy i found - active a droid and run to the next one. By the time you get to the next one, there is going to be an opposing team member trying to re-capture the last droid you activated. There is also an award you receive for capturing three droids - in game, extra points. Rinse, repeat, and have fun ;D

Droid Run is a fast paced 6v6 control mode with moving targets.

There are 3 'Gonk' power droids roaming a small map (the Mcdonald's style garbage pail droid). The trophy is simple in nature, run up to one of these droids and press cn_S to initiate the capture process (it is actually called claim in game). You only need to start the claim. There is no need to wait and defend the 20 seconds it takes for the droid point to switch from claiming to claimed.

Some tips:
· Pay attention to top of your HUD. You want to go after a droid when the icons labelled A,B,C are solid red, it means the enemy team has it fully claimed.
· If your playstyle is run n' gun I recommend using a fast firing blaster pistol, like the DH-17.
· If your struggling in terms of being a quickshot, you will have to utilize the minimap and sneak towards the droids. Try to avoid the red activity on the minimap. I find one of the droids is usually left unattended.
· Thermal detonators are very potent here and can kill 2 or 3 enemies with a well aimed lob, given the map size.
· Don't forget to use your powerups. You come across them quickly in this mode.

Hey Guys!

So to unlock this Trophy you have to capture three droids in a match of Droid Run. To do this, Run up to a droid and Press cn_S. I managed to do this fairly easy in my first attempt at this game mode and by myself. It might of just been luck to be honest.

Here's my Video Gameplay of the match to hopefully help you out.
