Patience you must have
Complete 10 daily challenges
How to unlock the Patience you must have achievement in STAR WARS Battlefront - Definitive Guide
You DO NOT have to own the Outer Rim DLC to obtain this achievement. It is part of the title update.
Daily challenges reset at 9:00 am PST, 12:00 EST etc and run for 24 hours. They can be unlocked in any map on any mode. As soon as the daily challenge shows complete in game, you can leave the room. You do not need to finish the match unless you want to. If you are having a hard time with a particular challenge, just come back after it resets and try the next one. They do not have to be completed consecutively.
They are usually fairly easy to complete. You can check them on your console. From the main menu, scroll right to "stats" and then go to the bottom left of the screen in the multiplayer tab. It will list the daily challenge, once completed it will be blank until it resets. Or you can download the Star Wars Battlefront Companion app to your smartphone and it shows the current Daily Challenge on the front page.
List of daily challenges that I have seen and tips on how to make them easy:
- Play as a hero one time - Play Heroes vs. Villains. You are guaranteed to get a hero character within the first two rounds.
- Complete an accomplishment - There are tons of accomplishments that should just come naturally. Destroy so many vehicles, so many kills with a weapon, any kind of kill or objective streak is probably an accomplishment.
- 10 kills with Imperial Starships - Play Fighter Squadron. On the Empire side kill 10 players. AI DOES NOT COUNT
- 10 kills with Rebel Starships - Play Fighter Squadron. On the Rebel side kill 10 players. AI DOES NOT COUNT
- Destroy 10 player vehicles - Play Fighter Squadron on either side. Kill 10 players. AI DOES NOT COUNT. If you don't like flying load up Walker Assault, Supremacy, or Turning Point. Load anti vehicle weaponry like the Ion Torpedo and take out AT-ST's.
- Complete a match - Literally complete a match, any mode any map.
- Win a match - Just win a match. Pick a mode that you are good at and get the W.
- Get 1,500 objective score - This is cumulative over the 24 hour period. Objective score comes from completing the objective in the given mode you are playing. Capturing droids in Droid Run, activating drop pods in Drop Zone, damaging the Transports in Fighter Squadron etc.
- Defeat a hero - Play Heroes vs Villains. You can be Rebels or Empire, doesn't matter. You must get the killing shot on a hero, although you do not have to be a hero it certainly makes it easier.
- Defeat 5 Rebel heroes - Play Heroes vs Villains. You must be on the Empire for this. You must get the killing shot on a hero, although you do not have to be a hero it certainly makes it easier. This is a more difficult one to do, I skipped it once.
- Defeat 5 Imperial heroes - Play Heroes vs Villains. You must be on the Rebels for this. You must get the killing shot on a hero, although you do not have to be a hero it certainly makes it easier. This is a more difficult one to do, I skipped it once.
- Activate 10 charges - You activate chargers by holding . They are the personal shield, focus fire etc. Just sit in a corner and spam the Y button. If you run out of them, you can pick up more by finding them in the map, they look like lightning bolts.
- 15 Blaster Pistol Kills - Pick your best mode and just use the pistol. Personally I would go for Blast mode but do whatever floats your boat. Blaster Pistols include the DH-17, DL-44, SE-14C, DL-18 (Hutt Contract), and the DT-12 (Hutt Contract).
- 30 Kills - Pick your best mode and just kill. Cumulative over the 24 hour period.
- 5 headshots - The game will tell you when a kill is a headshot. Get five total over a 24 hour period. If you like sniping pick the Cycler Rifle. You will just get it through natural play if you make a point of aiming for the head.
- 10 kills with any star card - Load up your preferred mode and spam Impact Grenades and Thermal Detonators at infantry. Or if you prefer fighting vehicles, use the Ion Torpedo against Imperial Walkers.
- 15 targeting rifle kills - The T-21B is the only targeting rifle that you start out with. You can also unlock the DLT-19X and the Relby V-10 through hutt contracts.
- 15 blaster rifle kills - The following weapons are blaster rifles: A280C, E-11, EE-3, and the EE-4 (unlocked through hutt contract).
- 15 heavy blaster kills - The following weapons are heavy blasters: DLT-19, RT-97C, T-21, and the TL-50 Heavy Repeater (unlocked through hutt contract).
- Pick up 5 power ups - Power ups are the random tokens that spawn on the map. Just run through them. They include: Disruptor Rifle, R5-D4, Viper Probe Droid, Orbital Strike, Thermal Imploder, Proximity Bomb, Squad Shield, Smart Rocket, Blaster Cannon, Vehicle Turret, Card Refresh, and TIE Striker (Scarif DLC only).

Great solution.... Spot on...you got my thumbs up!

Challenges can glitch up on you. I'm 9 for 10 and the one I just completed simply disappeared leaving a blank daily challenge space. Looks like I'll have to be more patient.

Daily challenges can be found in the main menu -> stats -> multiplayer, on the right hand side at the bottom within this screen. Simply complete ten of these challenges (which cycle every 24 hours), and the achievement will be won.

I dont think you can buy new daily challenges. They're separate from the 'normal' 3 active challenges.
You can also do this without owning the Outer Rim DLC.

Pretty straightforward: each day a new daily challenge is added, so simply come back each day, complete a new one, and after 10 days you'll get the achievement. (You don't have to complete 10 days in a row, just 10 altogether.) For me, the daily challenge resets at 12 noon EST each day.
The daily challenges are designed to be obtainable in a short amount of time, so you shouldn't have too much trouble. Just pick whichever game mode you are best at that allows you to work toward the criteria of the daily challenge, and you'll be fine.
For example, Fighter Squadron is by far my best mode, so if the daily challenge is something general like "Earn 5,000 Points" or "Earn an Accomplishment," I'd choose Fighter Squadron because that's where I was most likely succeed. However, other challenges can't be earned in that mode, like "Get 10 Blaster Pistol Kills," so in that case I'd have choose something else.
In my opinion, it was easier to earn daily challenges like "Get 10 Blaster Pistol Kills," "Get 10 Blaster Rifle Kills," etc. etc. in a mode like Droid Run, Cargo, or Drop Zone, where there was an objective besides killing other people. That's because in a game mode like Blast, all anybody is trying to do is kill you, whereas in Droid Run or Drop Zone you have a chance to pick somebody off while they're trying to activate a droid or capture an escape pod. But if you're especially proficient at Blast, then by all means, play that mode. Choose the mode that plays best to your strengths.
I've seen a very small amount of people in forums say the achievement tracker was a bit wonky for them. It should go up by 10% after each challenge, but some have said it either didn't change or, worse yet, it reset back to 0%. However, most of them said if they reset the game or the console, the counter was correct. I did not experience this problem personally, and I don't think it's giving too many people trouble in getting the achievement.
(You shouldn't have any trouble learning what the daily challenge is, because a notification usually pops up at the start screen. But if you are, go to Main Menu, then Stats, then Multiplayer, and it will tell you there. Or, just play any game mode, and at the end it'll show you the daily challenge along with your three current regular challenges.)
