How to unlock the Ignore Your Instincts At Your Peril achievement in STAR WARS Battlefront II - Definitive Guide

In order to get this you need to destroy 25 objectives in starfighter assault.
The easiest way to accumulate these is when you are playing as the defender in most maps the attacker will start summoning AI bombers to hit your targets. Each of these bombers count as an objective, they are usually easy to shoot down and will mostly fly straight.
Just focus on the bombers and you can knock this out in a few games.

Anybody else have this glitch? Game hub achievements says 100% but still locked.

Achievement is glitched for me... yay. I‘ve got the milestone ingame for it, but my xbox achievement is stuck at 96%...

Does anyone want to band together and help mop up multiplayer achievements in battlefront 1 and 2 dm me on xbox one incase I'm unaware of your response on here

To get this achievement you just need to shoot down 25 targets marked with the red crosshair above them. The easiest way to do this is to play as the defenders and shoot down the A.I. bomber waves that spawn. These are pretty easy to take down, and if you focus on them you should be able to get this achievement pretty fast. You can also easily make progress toward "The Bomber" achievement at the same time, as the AI will not avoid your missiles.

Destroy any objective that is marked with a red 'Attack' Target during a game of starfighter assault. AI controlled ships/bombers/troop transports are the easiest targets.

Join Starfighter Assault on Multiplayer, Follow the red target that says 'attack' shoot down, achievement will pop when you hit the milestone.

In Starfighter Assault, You Will See "Attack" Over certain ships, and depending on whether you are attacking or defending, it could be bombers or Corellian Corvettes, etc.

Destroying 25 of these Cumulatively, (Not in one game) Nets you the achievement.

In Starfighter Assault the attacking team has to destroy targets as their primary objective. If you manage to destroy these targets they will count towards this trophy. If you are on the defending team, every once in a while “bomber runs” will come in which are AI ships trying to attack the objective. These AI ships are marked and very easy targets and they usually come in pairs of three. Destroying these ships will count towards this trophy as well and is probably the easiest and fastest way to obtain this.

You can check your progress towards this trophy in the main menu. Go to the “Career” tab, then choose “Multiplayer” and find the “Go for the Objective” milestone.
