How to unlock the A Dominating Presence achievement in STAR WARS Battlefront II - Definitive Guide

For starters, you are going to need to be playing the officer class. Officers special ability is battle command which depending on how it is customized by players can boost health, abilities, or cooldown. I highly recommend purchasing the improved battle command in the collection section of the menu for 40 crafting parts. This upgrade makes a huge difference in a number of people you are able to boost at once as it increases the area of effect. This will take some grinding but not more than some of the other class-based achievements.

Note you can only boost allies in front of you in a limited range, on the battle command icon it will indicate how many people you will boost icon when activated try for threes and better.

Use battle command cn_LB+cn_RB

Update: I have been informed that the number of people boosted doesn't matter only using the number of times the ability was used to boost 1 or more people. So just having one person in the range and using the ability a total of 100 times will award this achievement. Playing the officer class you should be able to squeeze out at least 10 per match of galactic assault.

I played it on Co-op with a level 1 Officer and no boost cards attached. I was not looking forward to it as I had never played with the officer. However, I found it to be one of the easiest achievements in the game. I played my first game and hit 39 straight away. Then 52 on my second game. So 91 in two games. I then joined a game which had almost finished and got 6 to make 97 and then got the remaining 3 on my fourth game. Took me about half an hour and I'm an average player. As Felipe B said it's a good idea to activate it straight away as you spawn as there are lots of teammates around you. After I got 39 in the first game I figured I would activate it at the start on game 2, get killed and then respawn as it instantly refreshes for you to use again straight away. Then get killed again and rinse and repeat. It really is quite easy. Just go for the achievement and keep getting killed to refresh the ability. It's quicker than waiting for it to recharge.

I recommend doing it specially at the start of games, since all your allies will spawn together you can get 6-7 people at once.

This can be done in co-op for those wondering

It's definitely 100 allies boosted, not 100 instances of using the ability. I try to get 3-4 each time I use it, and my progress goes up by that percentage each time.

As mentioned previously, select the Officer Class in a multiplayer game. When the match begins, boost your allies by using his boost ability pressing LB + RB.

However, it counts the times you use the ability to boost at least 1 person. It doesn't count the number of people or whom you boost. Kind of weird as it is not described. I thought a good strategy would be going into Galactic Assault, selecting Officer Class and using the ability immediately at the start of the match to get at least 10 people at once. However, turns out you can hit one guy or 11 guys, and it only counts as 1.
Again, just counts the times you use it, not number of people.

Maybe that was a week one issue that has since been updated. During the first week and prerelease period I had used it several times in one match. Even getting 11 people twice in one match, yet the percentage moved up about 13% when I know I should hav e gotten around 30 that match. I am unsure of how it actually counts, but after several matches it seemed it only counted a smaller amount than I had actually boosted. That's why I had written I don't think it counts every person, every time.

Otherwise, we could just use it once at the beginning of each match and hit a large amount of people asap, making it quicker to attain.

I don't know what the issue is but i never got more than 4 people at the start of the match. Maybe other officers are not counted?

Maybe that is part of the problem here and what led to my confusion. At the beginning, I would see 11 people in range, I would hit it and check, and never got credit for all of them. So there is some sort of stipulation in here that I haven't figured out. That is why I thought it only counted each team mate once in a match. I will see if i can get a second account going and try it on there.

It now defnitly counts number of people. I just went from 95% to 100% with 1 issue of it.

Unlike the other class based trophies, there's no real skill needed to accomplish this one- you just need to use the Officer's Battle Command ability to boost 100 people cumulatively.

Battle Command enhances everyone in a circle around you; use it right at the start of a match when everyone is clustered together, around defensive command posts, and behind the lines in large fire fights and you'll earn it in no time.

When you play the officer role you will notice the "Battle Command" ability which is your E ability on PC, LB+RB on Xbox and L1+R1 on PS4. If you use this ability near a teammate it will boost them.

The Fastest way to unlock this achievement is to play the Supremacy Game mode and boost your allies at the very start of the game before everyone runs off but throughout the game there will be big groups of teammate that you can boost. rinse and repeat until achievement pops

This trophy is specific to the “Officer” class and can be done in any online game mode with the exception of Starfighter Assault and Heroes vs. Villains.

Boost is the special ability of the Officer class so make sure you pick this when you’re starting your game or after you've died. The special ability is triggered by pressing and simultaneously and grants you and the allies around you a boost in health.

The description of this trophy is a bit misleading because even though you can boost a large amount of allies with a single boost as long as they’re close enough, this will still count as only 1 ally boost towards your trophy. To obtain this trophy you will have to boost at least 1 ally a 100 times, so it really doesn’t matter whether you boost 1 or 10 allies at the same time. Still this is a very easy trophy that can be done in a few games if you consistently boost an ally right when it’s available. Use the indicator in the bottom right of your screen to see if there’s an ally within your boost radius (it will state the number of allies within that radius, but again, it doesn’t matter whether this is just one or multiple allies).

To make things a bit easier on yourself you can obtain or craft a star card called “Recharge Command” or “Improved Battle Command”. One of these cards makes you recharge your Boost command faster, while the other gives you a bigger radius, both of which can be very helpful.

You can check your progress towards this trophy in the main menu. Go to the “Career” tab, then choose “Troopers” and find the “Field Commander” milestone.

EDIT: Alternatively, since one of the later updates this trophy can be obtained in co-op mode by playing with bots which might prove easier than obtaining it in regular PvP games. Credits to Mastodon for confirming this method.
