You will get this naturally through story progression but here's my walkthrough of Mission 1: The Battle of Endor.

To save time, I have skipped most of the cut scenes.

Achievement did not unlock for me on easy difficulty. Does this have to be done on higher difficulty?

I got “The Dauntless” achievement, but this one did not unlock. Do we know if it is glitched?

This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed.

In the first mission, you'll have to defend a shield generator on Endor from a Rebel attack. You will start on foot clearing Endor from Rebel presence. After you've completed your task, you secure a TIE Fighter to escape Endor again, but the Rebels will try to prevent you from escaping so you'll have to take this fight to space.
