How to unlock the Legendary Beasts achievement in STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order - Definitive Guide

these are more powerful variants of the 'local predator' creatures on their respective planets. easily identifiable by the name/health bar that appears at the top of the screen. can be beaten as soon as discovered (I've done so).

1. Oggdo Bogdo (Giant Frog) - Bogano

In the Bogdo Sinkholes area, take the right beam (left goes into Fan Room) and follow the path until you reach a cave filled with slashable poles, it resides in there.

Has same moves as normal version; watch out for double bite, and roll to the side when it flashes red.

2. Albino Wyyyschokk (Giant Spider) - Kashyyyk

In the Imperial Refinery area (outside grassy area), stick to the upper ledge, hug the wall and you'll find a hard-to-see entrance into tunnels, follow the tunnel and you'll eventually enter a cavern filled with spider webs, it resides here.

Has same moves as normal version; don't get caught in webs, roll diagonally when it flashes red.

3. Rabid Jotaz (Giant Ape/Sloth?) - Zeffo

In the Broken Wing area, head to the Crash Site area first, and on the left is a patrolling Jotaz (normal version), above it is a platform and a laser field, disable the laser field go through the gap and follow the path, it will reside past a second gap in a wall.

This one is a pain in the ass to fight normally, so here is an easy way to kill it without dying constantly.

In the fight area for this creature, on the left side, there is a force push-able wall, open it up with force push and get inside. Now turn around and face the creature and do this; attack twice > dodge-roll back (allow monster to attack three times) > roll forwards (towards monster) > repeat.

The monster cannot enter the force push-able room and will stand in front of the entrance just asking to be hit.

4. Nydak Alpha (Giant Wolf/Thing) - Dathomir

In the Nightmare Ruins/Strangled Cliffs area, to the right of the big main door of the temple is a path leading into a wall run, the monster resides here.

Same moveset, not too much trouble, just prepare to dodge a lot, it's normal attack gets 4-5 swings in. Also be aware that to leave it's lair you will have to go through ALOT of enemies, so try not to finish the monster and have half a health bar remaining.

achievement should immediately unlock after the Nydak Alpha, as these creatures should basically be in order of being able to access them (how I did it)

Just a heads up for everyone, that this may be slightly bugged.

I have killed all four, but haven't unlocked the achievement yet.

For the Nydak Alpha you can just run back across the walls you came from to rest if needed.

These are all sort of glitched/bugged. You can kill the Oggdo by going back to the dark corridor you came through. There's an invisible wall the Oggdo can't go through, he can use his tongue attack though, but once you go back, the Oggdo will stop attacking you without resetting its life. You can attack it from there, makes it 10x easier to beat it.

I have the same problem as Atsumer. Read on the EA forum that this problem was apparently introduced with a patch, so let’s hope they bring another patch to fix this soon. 😕
To everybody with a disc version: You could try re-installing and not updating the game. The spider should then appear.

I have the disc version so I tried your suggestion Mittensne. The Spider was indeed there and I killed her - but still no achievement :( . Afterwards I reconnected online and restarted the game - let it update - synced the game save. Nothing. I also did a hard reset of the console. Nope. Fingers crossed that a patch will correct this soon.

This just unlocked for me when I meditated. Unsure whether or not there's been another patch since my last message here - but maybe the disc re-install going offline method works but are delayed...

This is bugged for me. I revisited all locations and I have the entries in the databank for all the creatures. I bought the digital version so I can't do the workaround. How long would it take me if I started a new character and sped through on easy?

Had the Albino Spider glitch out on me. Easy fix, save outside spiders lair at mediation circle, go offline, delete game download and reinstall, back online to reinstall, dont do update (this causes glitch) and go back offline, load up the game, exterminate spider, go back online, install update, boot up game, go back to meditation circle to save, and pop goes the Cheevo

That workaround doesn't work El Clell, the game quits out when you go to install the update after killing the spider, so you end up back where you started.

EDIT: Found elsewhere that you should save after killing the spider and going online. Seems obvious, but I was paranoid about accidentally overriding the save too far

They appear to have just patched the problem with the spider not respawning as I just got an update for the game, went to it's location and it spawned in. Killing it got the achievement to pop properly as well

You can unlock this achievement in no-time using Battle Grid mode from latest update. Just spawn all four creatures, enable infinite health/power and you should be able to get the achievement.
I was missing one of the creatures so I killed it in Battle Grid. I got the achievement

Bugged plus for me. Got this only having fought three of the creatures. Haven't even seen a nydak let alone fought the nydak alpha.

You don't have to find all four. I haven't hit the Nydak yet, but it popped after I killed the Bogdo a second time.

After you complete the story any of the creatures can be accessed thru Meditation Training-->Battle Grid, then select your missing monster. A lot of these achievements can be obtained in this way.

To beat the Albino Spider in about ten seconds. Jump into the area to spawn it. Run straight for the small deep water corner tucked away under tree coverage. Jump in water, then out. Let it catch you in a web to trigger it’s red unblock-able charge (or just get it near the water with your back to the water). Quickly dodge roll out of the way. It will die immediately if one of its legs hits the water. Worked for a friend as well.

Bugged for me as well. I've killed all four except the Albino Spider on Kashyyyk. I was not prepared to encounter that spider when I found her and I got killed quickly. I left her for later but when I later returned she wouldn't spawn. Somehow I've got the scan data for her without actually killing her - and I think that determines whether or not she will spawn - ergo preventing me from getting the kill notification which I suppose is tied to the achievement tracker.

quick note, you can do this by killing the frog 4 times (its the one i recomend since its early in the game and dont require any force ability nor bd upgrade

NOTE : for this achievement You don't have to find All the creatures ,you can kill BOGANO 4 times in battle grid and the achievement will unlock

There are four unique monsters to kill in the game, one on each major planet. They are larger versions of generic monsters from the planet, but you'll know them when they show up as they get a large health bar similar to the game's bosses, don't respawn, and will automatically be scanned to your databank when you kill them. These are as follows:

  • Oggdo Bogdo (Bogano – Bogdo Sinkholes)
  • Rabid Jotaz (Zeffo – Broken Wing)
  • Albino Wyyyschokk (Kashyyyk – Imperial Refinery)
  • Nydak Alpha (Dathomir – Strangled Cliffs)

You can also use THIS VIDEO to help pinpoint each location. Once you have killed all four monsters, the achievement will unlock.

This Trophy requires you to defeat 4 Legendary creatures in four ; they are very challeneging if you fought them very early in the game as they can end you health in 1-2 hits so i suggest you do them after you finish the main story unless you feel the force within you and looking for a challenege. The 4 Legendary creatures are:

OGGDO BOGDO - found in Bogano
RABID JOTAZ - found in Zeffo
NYDAK ALPHA - found in Dathomir
ALBINO WYYYSCHOKK - found in Kashyyyk

These are semi-bosses scattered across planets. They look like ordinary mobs, only their life bar will be at the top of the screen

In the tactics guide you can easily find out which planet you missed the miniboss on. He will be missing from the bestiary

It is not necessary to look for these creatures during the passage of the main campaign; after completing the story in meditation mode, a training mode will be available, where you can spawn all these opponents and calmly knock out a trophy.

It is not necessary to kill 4 different creatures. I killed Oggdo, the albino spider and the Zeffo monster. Then he went back to Bogano and once again killed Oggdo Bogdo. The trophy fell out. Many people experience bugs with the spider. For me, he also disappeared immediately after he carried me out. I went to the main menu and reloaded the checkpoint. The spider appeared

UPD. It's more of a glitch. Because usually after defeating the mini-boss, he no longer appears. Most likely this happened to me because after the first victory over Oggdo Bogdo I left the game and did not save. The victory was counted, but Oggdo was still waiting for me when I visited again. Perhaps the glitch will work with other monsters.

An albino spider may glitch if it kills you and does not appear again. After studying the forums, it turned out that if you are the happy owner of a disc with the game, then you can delete the game, reinstall it without a patch and go to the spider (maybe other bosses) and kill it for achievement.
PS Special thanks to EA for the fact that the spider is still buggy on patch 1.07
