How to unlock the I Knew He Was No Good achievement in STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order - Definitive Guide

Story related, so it'll come with time. The best way to take him down I found was to parry everything as it blasts his stamina. He'll expand his move set as he gets lower health. Dodge the rocks he throws with the force and boom. Cheivo

I beat him earlier and got no achievement. Is there any way to make it pop?

Edit: turns out this glitch was due to Xbox server problems and not the game in this particular instance.

Slowing him in mid attack is also pretty effective.

Hasn’t popped for me as like in other achievements as well. A very glitchy game.

Baradur's suggestion is good, dodge away and slow him during a flurry of attacks. Hit him with a Y heavy attack from behind 👍 also you can throw the rocks back at him to interrupt that attack.

Not a glitchy game, every single thing unlocked so far when it was supposed to.

Very glitchy for me as well; multiple achievements won't unlock.

Defeat Talon Malicos in Dathomir, he was a former Jedi who lost his way. I suggest you try to parry his moves as this delpetes his energy and give you the advantage to hit him back. use the slow ability r1.png combined with a heavy hit triangle.png to make the most damage. You can also use the single lightsaber combo moves dpad_left.pngsquare.pngsquare.pngsquare.png combined with the split lightsaber l1.png+square.png to break his defenses. Once defeated the trophy should unlock. Also, try aiming for the Blade Master trophy_silver.png  trophy during this fight.

In my opinion the most difficult boss in the game.
Its main features:
-very fast
-our Power has almost no effect on him
-long series of blows that can break through our block
- sometimes it just doesn’t allow you to get treatment.

Tactics:
1st phase:
To deal damage to the boss, you need to knock down his block.
Parrying helps, but you have to be careful with it, sometimes the boss attacks so quickly that you can drive to the meditation point instead of parrying))
Second option (works well up to 1/2 of the boss’s health): run up, spam blows at the boss’s block, when he parries you, put a block and wait for the next window to spam blows. When the defense is knocked down, use the L1+ combo
Don't try to push the stones away in the first stage.
2nd phase:
In this phase, the Night Sister will help you from time to time; use these moments to knock down the boss’s defense.
When the boss has 1/2 health left, he will become even faster + several techniques will be added, such as throwing stones several at a time, here you HAVE to push the stones away in order to interrupt this hail.

The force acts on him at the moment when he runs towards us.
When standing, it blocks all our strength.
You wait until he runs at you, push him (the whole block gets knocked down) and immediately jump on him before he gets up and restores the block and chop.
Or, while running, slow down, knock down the block with a couple of blows and use some kind of combo.

It depends on everyone, but in my opinion this is the simplest boss with a very clearly defined attack pattern that is easy to knock down. Even Oggdo Bogdo caused more problems.
We start by catching his regular parry attacks, this is very easy since he swings a little longer than a stormtrooper fires a rocket. Thus we kill his block. After three parries it will open and we hammer it with either a bunch of or , his health is very easy. He carries out the red attack from a long distance and is easy to stun, and while he is slowed down, strike again. Yes, he blocks power blows, but only when standing. He is vulnerable while running and jumping. In turn, his power strikes are mostly harmless, after which it is important to just quickly get back to your feet

I passed it very easily without taking any damage. By the time you complete it, you should already have a double lightsaber. In a fight with him = Take a double-sided one, press L1+[] constantly, with the first blow we destroy his block, with the second hit. Repeat until finished. That's all the tactics)
