How to unlock the Perfect Timing achievement in STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order - Definitive Guide

This is an ability you learn early on in the game, so you should unlock it over time.

1) When fighting enemies with lightsabers, batons etc. watch for them telegraphing their swings, when they do, hit the LB as they swing to achieve a parry.

2) If you achieve a parry you should notice them become stunned or stumble.

Repeat this process 100x and the achievement is yours. Good luck!

You unlock this ability in the prologue level, as soon as you have access to your lightsaber. It requires that you tap cn_LB the moment before a strike would land; on casual difficulty this timing window is incredibly forgiving.

In the very same prologue level, you end up on board a speeding grav-train, where the game first introduces you to the concept of blocking, parrying, and slowing an enemy with the Force. In this small segment, you're locked in a room with an infinite spawn of baton-soldiers, who drop down from the roof one at a time - as long as you don't complete the tutorial objective (either hold cn_LB to block or use cn_RB to slow)

You can easily grind the achievement out in this room, grabbing 7 or 8 kills every minute.

In this video guide I will show you how to parry 100 enemies quickly. In order to perform a successful parry you need to hit the LB button right when an enemy attacks you. You will notice the enemy stagger if done correctly.

I can now confirm after recording this, that you can farm the same enemies for progress. Now as far as if it counts or not towards having to reset the enemies. I would think not in this case due to it being that it isn't kill related, so it can be done numerous times.

I would suggest farming the Lesser Nydak on Dathomir. It's the creature shown at 00:50. Keep blocking his three punches he throws at you long enough should eventually pop the achievement. If not keep blocking all new enemies you come across to guarantee the achievement.

I can confirm that you can use the same enemy to stock the parry up. I use 3 stormtroopers and just kept on parrying them and the achievement pooped for me.

As has been previous said this can be done quickly using the Lesser Nydak from Dathomir, but it can be done in the Meditation training room instead of the planet. It took me about 5minutes just allowing it to hit me and parrying the punches with LB.

You block using l1.png but if you press l1.png just at the same time your enemies strike, then instead of blocking you will parry and make your enemy vulnerable to an attack. This is a game changer move as parraying will help you alot during boss fights and when fighting the Inquisitors. A slow choreographic slow moton move is triggered whenever you perform a parry, do that 100 Times and remeber in my experience there is no such thing as luck.

Parries are accomplished in the same method as reflecting blaster bolts (by pressing ) but instead right before a melee attack would hit Cal. Again, you'll have more or less leniency in the timing of this depending on the difficulty. However, this achievement is much easier as you can farm it off a single baton enemy by blocking over and over without killing him. That said, it should come naturally as you play the story since blocking/parrying is very important to the game's combat.

Normal parry , can be combined with a counter-attack and where your finishing animation goes off - it counts

Clarification: you don’t have to kill the enemy. Just press in time and that's all. I launched it on 1 mob in 2 minutes)

I did it at the Imperial Factory in Kashyyyk, where there are 5 stormtroopers with electric batons. There, immediately on the right, there is a savepoint with which you can spawn enemies again and get all the mileage trophies.

Can be done at the very beginning of the game. On the train, when they teach you how to block, you need to parry (Press Lb at the moment the enemy swings) attacks of 100 enemies in a row. They will descend more than 100 times one at a time.
