How to unlock the Blood, Sweat, and Tears achievement in STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor - Definitive Guide

There are 15 Force Tears throughout the game. 1 on Coruscant, 1 on Shattered Moon, 4 on Jedha, 9 on Koboh.

The force tears consist of combat challenges, and platforming challenges.

I recommend going for these after you complete the game or very late in the game as you will need all of Cal & BD-1's abilities to get to some of these.

1) Coruscant - Rooftops
2) Shattered Moon - Automated Forge
3) Jedha - Monastery Walls
4) Jedha - Desert Ridge
5) Jedha - Crypt of Uhrma
6) Jedha - Timeworn Bridge
7) Koboh - Above the Garden on the Cantina
8) Koboh - Smugglers Den
9) Koboh - Swindlers Walsh
10) Koboh - Gorge Crash Site
11) Koboh - Boiling Bluff
12) Koboh - Devastated Settlement
13) Koboh - Marl Cavern (Fogged Expanse is closest fast travel)
14)Koboh - Hunters Quarry (You need to break into the hunters house near Cantina & learn the secret before this one spawns)
15) Koboh - Doma's Shop (Must kill Spawn of Oggdo & grab the force echo where you killed him, and the force echo will spawn in Doma's shop. After listening to the echo the force tear will spawn right in the shop.)

My video guide is the path to each force tear from the nearest fast travel point with timestamps for each one if you know which ones you are missing.

Anyone having trouble unlocking this achievement please? All tears shows as completed (icons are ticked on the map) but the achievement progress is stuck at 93% 😔 Last achievement I need as well.

For the ones having A LOT of troubles in the platforming challenges like myself, there´s an slow mode among settings thats very helpful. At 75% speed or so is enough :)

UpturnedWater31 I thought I was having a similar issue as my tracker stopped at 80%. Going to the games club feed and then going across to progress updated the tracker which for me was now at 93%. Achievement popped as soon as a finished the last one. So maybe you just need to update the tracker or perhaps you're missing one.

Xx Exodus xX Appreciate the response. I tried that but unfortunately I was still stuck on 93%😔 Just tried again after yesterday's patch but still no luck. Resolved to starting a New Game+ as I was sure it was the Coruscant tear that was the issue (the icon was ticked on the map but the name of tear showed as "%%error: tear name") and it was right near the starting point. Achievement popped during the opening cinematic. Go figure 😁

Quick tip, if you're running quality mode at 30 fps on console, flip performance mode on for the platforming tears. I tried 30+ times on Jedha, flipped it to performance and got it on my second attempt. Might save some of you some frustration if you're on Series X.

The Force Tear for Jedha that’s labelled as the Crypt of Uhrma is actually in the Blustery Mesa.

Omg switching to performance mode worked! I tried like 20 times and failed miserably. Turned on performance mode after being annoyed, bam second try! Thank you!!!

Am I the only person having issues getting this achievement to pop? I have done all the tears but the one on Coruscant has an error message next to it when you zoom into it on BD-1’s map, Force Tear: %%ERROR VOID TEAR NAME.

Same issue here, I cant get any bounties from Caij at all and this achievement wont pop because of the broken Fractured Malice force Tear.
starting a NG+ run didn't pop it.

This appears to be broken for the time being. Got all the Tears yesterday and stuck at 93%. Played some more later and still no luck. Guess I’ll wait on the next fix.

Recent update did not help to solve the issue : "%%error void tear name" on Coruscant for me.

Can confirm performance mode and slow mode help tremendously on those really annoying parkour ones.

My Force Tear at Coruscant also shows the “%%ERROR VOID TEAR NAME” error message. It shows the “tick” that I completed it. I redid it, and it said I already completed it. I only had the 2 parcours once's left that I wasn’t looking forward to because they are a bit hard/ annoying. But after completing the 2 parcours ones the Achievement unlocked. I don’t know if today’s patch (6.5) has fixed it? I did not see anything in the patch notes about it.

The error %%ERROR VOID TEAR NAME on Coruscant with today's update change to "Done" but achievments did not pop.
I did the fight again and achievments did not appear either ...
Seems the update change the status to done but don't give the achievments ...

Edit : In fact I didn't see that I hadn't finished all the Tears on Koboh, I was missing the one high up called "Hunters Quarry"

Achievments pop !

I'm pretty rubbish at parkour, but I enabled slo mo and did all 3 in under an hour.

what this slo mo is? I'm in big trouble with parkour challenges...

This is a terrible guide. Every force tear has a name and some of the descriptions used here have no correlation with anything in the game.

Slo mo does not work. For those saying it does, it is a placebo affect. Works in game outside of combat, inside combat, but NOT inside of tears.

Slo mo definitely does work in tears but it’s an accessibility option, not the slo mo used in combat. It also makes the platforming tears incredibly easier

Slow mode didn‘t work for me as well but performance mode (up to 60fps) did help a lot on the platforming tears.

I tried all the above recommendations - performance mode, slow mode etc and I'm still having so much difficulty with the platforming ones. I need to do NJ+ for one achievement, but I'll probably miss 100% due to the force tears. It also could be the fact that I'm old and trying to do all the jumping, double jumping etc is a lot for me lol

This. Must have tried the Fractured Momentum tear a hundred times, couldn't get the timing. Saw this comment, switched to performance mode, got it first time no sweat. Thanks Anthony! smile

Hi All

There are a total of 15 tears to find, 1 on Corusant, 9 on Koboh, 4 on Jedha, and on the moon.

Each tear will introduce a challenge either combat or agility. Combat is simply take down all enemies in the area, the agility challenges are more taxing as they require the use of the parkour skills.

To get the tear in Hunter's Quarry (fractured delusion), you need to enter the house with the red spy cameras that appear:

  • Pull panel off the wall
  • BD cuts the panel
  • Slash the wires with lightsabre
  • Raise the door
  • Use the green dash
Talk to the guy inside and use telepathy to tell him you are an ally. He will open the floor, take the echo off the body and then kill the guy from upstairs. This will cause the delusion tear to spawn in Hunter's Grotto.

For the fractured history challenge you will need to defeat the legendary boss in Fort Kah'lin.

Force Tears are glowing purple anomalies you’ll find in certain hidden spots. They’re normally well tucked away, and entering them will present you with either a tricky combat challenge or some sort of gauntlet to traverse using Cal’s acrobatic platforming skills. Some you’ll breeze through with little effort, while others will drive you to despair. You can keep on retrying each Force Tear challenge, or leave and come back later. Generally speaking, combat-based Force Tears are more straightforward, whereas traversal-based Force Tear challenges require very precise wallrunning, jumping, dashing, and so on. Perseverance is key - keep on trying until you get them done, even if it reduces you to (Force) tears.

if you don't have a force tear combat test: if you look at Doma's house, right behind her house, there is the next one, get there through the green barrier, inside kill the killer who killed his own brother, ideally run around and with everyone around additionally talk, I have no idea how, but it worked.

I understand why it is translated this way, but tear is also a “break.”
The play on words in the trophies is, of course, funny, but the meaning of the description is lost.
