How to unlock the Perk of the Job achievement in STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor - Definitive Guide
6/21/24 Edit: For those downvoting, please comment on what additional information you need, or even message me if you don't want to make it public. As the only guide available for this achievement, I want to know what I could do better!
Hey all.
First, I want to say that this achievement did not unlock for me when I filled all ten perk slots. It was glitched, but I was able to unlock it by starting a New Game Plus. That being said, I will provide information on both below. If your achievement is glitched, scroll down below the video.
Standard way: In order to unlock this achievement, you need to unlock 10 perk slots, and have enough perks to fill all ten slots. Individual perks can take anywhere from 1 to 4 of the ten slots, so you do not need ten perks total. You will gain perk slots in the following ways:
1) From the Main story, as in some are automatically unlocked for you (3)
2) From collecting essences throughout the game (6)
3) Buying a perk slot from one of the main characters on Koboh (1)
Please Note: You can only change/slot your perks while meditating.
Here is a video from Argandalf Games that I found particularly helpful when tracking down the remaining perk slots. It also includes buying the perk slot I mentioned above, so slight spoilers if you want to go in completely blind.
Glitched way: So you filled all ten slots and the achievement didn't pop? Well luckily I found an easy solution that worked for me, and I hope works for all of you.
1) In your first playthrough, unlock all ten perk slots.
2) Unlock New Game Plus by completing the main story for the first time.
3) Start a New Game Plus save.
4) Play for about 5 - 10 minutes, depending on if you skip the cutscenes or not.
5) Reach your first meditation point after walking across the pipe.
6) Meditate, choose perks, and equip perks into all ten slots.
7) Achievement should unlock.
Since New Game Plus effectively starts Cal fresh, but keeps your progress, you will still have all of your perks and perk slots, and just need to apply them again.
I hope this works for anyone it may be glitched for.

Dumb questions:
1) Did you buy the perk slot from Zee?
2) Did you collect all 6 essences that you give perk slots?
I thought I had also collected all of the perk slots, but I missed the one on Jedha at one of the temple locations.

Upon unlocking perks, you’ll be given three perk slots. You might slot in three perks and think ‘job done’. It’s not. You need to obtain additional perk slots first. You can purchase one from Zee’s store in Pyloon’s Saloon for 10 Datadiscs, while another six need to be tracked down. That’s a total of ten slots, and you’ll need to find Essence points to acquire them.
When you’ve completed all seven Jedi Chambers, travel to the Alignment Control Center (you’ll unlock this Meditation Point towards the end of the story), and use BD-1 to slice the terminal, checking that all seven monitors have turned green. This will enable you to locate the Essence locations required to unlock the remaining Perk slots. Slot enough Perks at a Meditation Point to fill all ten slots once you’ve acquired all ten, and this will unlock.
