How to unlock the Don't get cocky achievement in Star Wars Outlaws - Definitive Guide

Step 1: Complete the Gunslinger Quest to Unlock to more marks

Once you visit Tatooine, you'll have to complete some main quests. You'll eventually be able to visit Mos Eisley, talk to the bartender to earn intel, and start a questline called The Gunslinger. Complete the questline to earn this Expert in the abilities menu, and you'll be able to mark up to 5 enemies now.

Step 1.1 (Optional): Complete the Gunslinger challenge; earning "The More" ability to earn your 6th mark

You'll have to hit 15 headshots, and kill 4 enemies in an adrenaline rush 3 times. Do this during missions or go to imperial territories and attack enemies to make it go faster. This is necessary for a different achievement.

Step 2: Kill 5 enemies in 1 adrenaline rush while on a speeder.

The easiest way to get a large amount of enemies to attack you is to attack an imperial terminal, and raise your wanted level. Wait for reinforcements to show up, hop on your speeder, and have 5 enemies near each other. It's best to use this against enemies that are on foot instead of other speeders. use the ability to take them all out. They must be red when marked or else they won't die. Stay on the speeder the whole time and it unlocks. You cannot get the achievement for 6 while on the speeder.

Like in the Shoot first trophy_silver.png trophy, in order to get the ‘Don’t get cocky’ trophy you first need to upgrade your Adrenaline Rush capabilities - you only start with the ability to mark 3 targets, so you need to push that to 5.

You do that by completing “The Gunslinger” Expert quest on Tatooine - after you’ve completed the main quest, “The Heavy.” Doing so will automatically unlock the “Adrenaline Rush Mastery” ability, which raises the max number of targets by 2 (so, from the default 3 to 5).

Now you’ve got the tools, it’s time to pull off the job, which is relatively easy, as it mentions nothing about it being just fellow speeder riders. It just says enemies. So, we literally charged up our Adrenaline Rush meter and then stormed through the gates of an Imperial Fortress on a speeder and started shooting at people (you don’t even need to move, just stay on the bike).

When there are enough enemies around, hit l3.png and r3.png and mark those targets for death - while still on the speeder. When you kill 5 enemies in one Adrenaline Rush action, you’ll be the proud new owner of the ‘Don’t get cocky’ trophy.
