How to unlock the Galaxy drift achievement in Star Wars Outlaws - Definitive Guide

You can do this very early in the game without any upgrades once you have access to your speeder.

Find a large open area. Use RT to accelerate and hold this. Use LT only slightly (about 50% or less), and use your left stick to choose a direction (left or right). You have to find a balance here. If you don't press LT enough, you won't drift, but if you press LT too hard, you'll do a sharp turn.

You want your character to stick their leg out just barely and you want to do a big sweeping turn. If you press LT too much, you'll do tight donuts and these do not count.

Hold the drift for 30 seconds, and the achievement unlocks once you come out of it.

Once I got the speeder, I just found an open area and held down RT and LT at the same time and drove in circles. You'll know you're doing it right when she sticks her leg out to drift. Let go of RT once you think it’s been 30 seconds or more, then the achievement will unlock.

30 seconds?! That sounds insane! Well, it is not. And yes, you can literally go around in a circle and you’ll unlock this. Not so much of a powerslide drift, than a powerslide circle!

So, firstly, find some empty space. Then, just hold down R2 all the way down, and L2 about halfway round, and then half tilt/full tilt the stick either to the right or the left; and then you wait. Literally 30 seconds. And if you do, the ‘Galaxy drift’ trophy will be yours.

One quick last note, though, the trophy will pop only after you’ve come out of the powerslide and not during it. So, count in your head (I’d count to 40 just to be safe) and it’ll pop when you exit the powerslide and carry on going straight after. It’s that simple.
