How to unlock the Good listener achievement in Star Wars Outlaws - Definitive Guide
Talk to him, select the option "Comfort" and listen until the achievement pops.
There at the bar will be a criminal drowning his sorrows (if you're having trouble finding him, he's next to Verrick). Talk to him and I believe it doesn't matter which option you choose but for reference I chose to 'pry' his story out of him and after the criminal goes back to his bottle, the trophy pops.
In order to unlock the ‘Good listener’ trophy, you simply need to head to Jaunta’s Hope in western Toshara.
A short way into the game, after you’ve been introduced to the area via the story, when you come back to the Daruda Diner in the center of town, you’ll be able to speak to someone at the bar. This person’s name is simply “Criminal” (they could have at least given him a name!).
When you speak to him you’ll have a few options to choose from. To unlock this trophy, simply select “Comfort him” and he’ll start to give you his life story.
Once his story has finished, the ‘Good Listener’ trophy will pop.

You need to go to the establishment "Daruda's Snack Bar" in the settlement "Hope of Jonty" and go to the bartender's counter, there will be a "squid" criminal, interact with him and in the dialogue selection, select "comfort"
After the conversation the achievement is yours
