Cheat and win a Sabacc game against Lando

12.2%

How to unlock the No such thing as luck achievement in Star Wars Outlaws - Definitive Guide

The game will tell you about the high stakes tables in each area. Lando's table is the last one. I had trouble with the quest triggering. If you go back to Tatooine and rematch Quint and use the double draw cheat, it should knock the quest loose and you can play against Lando.

The double draw cheat seems to play a big part in this quest triggering. The Lando quest and table may unlock with any of the high rollers if you have the double draw cheat unlocked. You must meat Lando and complete his expert quest to unlock the cheat. You may also go into settings and turn off QTEs for cheats to make cheating easier.

Doing a rematch against Quint didn't work for me, I had to replay a different high roller.

I saw a guide that said you may need to use the double draw skill to pick two cards during that match specifically. Hopefully that works?

Lando wasn't the last one. You need to play Sabacc often, you need to unlock Lando as an expert. I then played two games in Akiva, (I played every table in Mirogana minus the Pyke syndicate one, all of the tables in Kijimi, and tables in Akiva (After unlocking Lando as an expert) Using the double draw method, the invite to Lando's table unlocked after I beat the Pyke syndicate table in Akiva. At that point I had beaten at least 2 high rollers.

I played all high roller tables twice at least but did not get the call. I got it after playing a table I did probably not play before. So perhaps you need to play all regular tables, too?

I had never completed the Shadows of Deceit mission on Toshara in order to even unlock all the High Roller missions. As soon as I did that, I got the Lando call. So you don't need any of High Rollers to trigger this. I did use the Double Draw during Shadows of Deceit though, so that could be a hidden requirement?

I think it's to do with using his cheat. I retried one of the high rollers and used the cheat and got the call when I fast travelled even though I lost the match.

I agree that using the cheat affects unlocking Lando's table. I played numerous games at all the tables, today I read trying to use the cheat, it worked (I played Bosnok's table, used the cheat 3x, and won. But I think you can just use the cheat and it should unlock after you walk away win or lose).

Sorry, I originally thought I had information about using double draw in the guide but I guess my brain retained it and my hands didn't type it. I've updated the guide to be more clear on how it unlocks.

Can’t get that Lando call. Beat all the high rollers, completed the high roller mission and still nothing. I’ve even used the double draw cheat at each table. Seems to be random

First things first, in order to get to the table with Lando, you’re going to need make a name for yourself in the world of Sabacc, and you can only do that by beating the game’s 4 high rollers - 1 in each city, which is all a part of the side quest, “High-Stakes Showdown.”

To start this quest, you need to find the first high roller on Mirogana City, which you get by speaking to a bartender and following a lead. That will set you on the path to playing against your first high roller and initiating the quest.

From there you need to beat a high roller on each of the other 3 planets (and no, the Syndicate ones don’t count). You can find them here:

  • Kijimi - Speak to the bartender at Domak’s and the guy at the spaceport for a keycard to the high rollers lounge. Win the match to progress the quest.
  • Tatooine - Complete the Gunslinger mission thread, and that will unlock Quint’s Sabacc parlour in Wayfar. Beat Quint.
  • Akiva - Once you've beaten the above two, you'll get a call from Lando (which starts the Lando's Table Intel) and be able to face him in Akiva. As a sidenote, if you can't get Lando's Table to appear (we couldn't), we went back to beat Quint again and it unlocked the phone call.

Once you’ve beaten all 4, you can finally take on Lando and cheat your way to success and unlock the ‘No such thing as luck’ trophy.
