How to unlock the Punching up achievement in Star Wars Outlaws - Definitive Guide
The specific Ships you need to destroy are:
Crimson Dawn - SRX-T Manta
- Often found when entering Toshara space from another planet.
Pyke Syndicate - B84 Viper
- Can be found near "Battle aftermath" in Tatooine Space
Hutt Cartel - SRX-T Manta.
- Can also be found near "Battle Aftermath" in Tatooine Space
Ashiga Clan - B84 Viper
- South-East of the Nebula Core in Kijimi Space. There's a small corridor/tunnel that leads around to Pilots End. That is where this ship can be found.
If you end up taking hull damage, the ship doesn't spawn or you are just unsure then heading back to the planet until the menu to land is placed upon the screen and cancelling instead of landing will reset the area allowing the ship to respawn. Leaving to another planet or landing also works but is slower.
Tatooine:
The Pyke syndicate, on your system map you should have an area called "battle aftermath". When leaving the planet and heading towards it, come in from the right side to have the chance of a Pyke capital ship to spawn in.
The Hutt Cartel, just as above but instead fly to the left side/straight towards "battle aftermath" to have a chance for the Hutts capital ship.
Kijimi:
Ashiga clan, this system is more of a maze but I'll try and explain it untill I can get a map up.
Start with heading toward the planet to land and turn back once the the menu to land comes up. Now you should be facing the cloud nebula and you should see a lit path with beacons going straight through it. If you move in via the main path take the first opening to the left, it's a small open path leading into a large chamber within the nebula with crystals. The Ashiga capital ship spawns in the small corridor between the main path and crystal chamber.
The Crimson dawn, can also be found in the Kijimi system, this one can be found by following the main path through the nebula untill you almost get out on the other side. Look for another small lit path on your left and it should take you to a small chamber where the crimson dawn capital ship spawns.
As for tactics in bringing the capital ships down you will proberly need to max out your ship and get all skills to help with maneuvering your ship. You can also change your game settings so you take less damage.
When engaging, focus on the yellow highlighted parts to deal the most damage and if your shield is almost down, hit repair to charge it back and get some more time to take the enemy ship down.
Also saw a YT video that said you can just repeatedly fly into the ships damaging them and you as much as you like until one shot with a laser (Think it's cause you're not in "combat mode" until firing on them)
Trailblazer Loadout:
C-10 Plasburst Cannon
PT-240 Proton Torpedoes or M-I08 Ion
TU-C6 Laser Turret
CO-BA Countermeasures
This is the way 😁
After destroying the main ship, you need to destroy the small ships as well, and wait until you see a message on the left side of the screen that says your reputation is down.

In the various orbits of 3 of the game’s main planets (Toshara, Tatooine and Kijimi) there are various capital ships for each of the syndicates. In order to get the ‘Punching up’ achievement, you need to destroy all 4… without taking any hull damage.
- B84 Viper - Ashiga Clan - To the southeast of the Nebula Core in Kijimi’s orbit.
- SRX-T Manta - Hutt Cartel - Near the Battle Aftermath in Tatooine's orbit, in the bottom left-hand corner of the map.
- B84 Viper - Pyke Syndicate - Again, near the Battle Aftermath in Tatooine's orbit, in the bottom left-hand corner of the map.
- SRX-T Manta - Crimson Dawn - To the east-northeast of the Imperial base in Toshara, southside of The Crucible, above the debris there.
In terms of strategies, there’s a few here. You can line up behind it and shoot the back of it. This is a slow process, but will protect you from its missiles - this can be tricky to stay with the ship though, as it has better maneuverability. You can also strafe and hit the weak spots too while avoiding the missiles if you’re good at that (use the CO-BA Countermeasure or the Loop Maneuver to avoid them). Whatever you do though, you should first focus on the smaller ships before taking on the main ship. Like I said, options.
I found the best strategy is (with a fully upgraded Trailblazer using the LC-70 Laser Cannon, CM-2 Arana Cluster Missiles and TU-C6 Laser Turret) to lock onto the 2 escort ships and the main ship (you can lock onto 3 targets) to trigger the fight, and then fight from distance. As the capital ship gets closer, fire your missiles, turn on the auto-turret, and then strafe past it to get some distance to allow your shields to refresh. On your way away from the capital ship, use the left on the d-pad to make sure the ship is behind you, dodge the missiles when the beep is nearly continuous and then do the Loop Maneuver to be perfectly lined up for another attack run; and then you just need to repeat the whole process. When you’re at range too, out of the missile range of the capital ship (you won’t be able to lock on either), just dodge left and right occasionally when you see its turret fire coming to avoid any danger of you losing your shields. And that, right there, is the perfect strategy.
So, just prep a save in orbit, which you can go to when you get hull damage, and don’t forget to use your repair if you start to get down to no shields (your repair will charge, but very slowly, but it is vital for this achievement).
To be honest, though, the trickiest part of this whole achievement is trying to get them to spawn. In order to do that, fly towards the planet and when it forces a land, hit cancel, and then fly to the spots mentioned above, and they should warp in then.
Kill all 4 without taking any hull damage, and the ‘Punching up’ achievement is all yours.

1. have a reputation of at least good in each syndicate
2. We fly into space, looking for combat ships (NOT CARGO!!!)
3. We crash into them until they fall apart, do not shoot, just crash (in the settings you can turn off damage from collisions)
The trophy is yours.
There is a problem with finding ships, but it can be solved easily.
If there is no ship, fly to the planet, when the landing menu appears, press / and we fly back, usually appears 2-3 times
There is another problem: on Kajimi the ship can only be found in the fog, so we crash and turn sharply so as not to lose sight of it. Ships like to fly away))) good luck to everyone
Hutts - Tatooine (usually spawn slightly to the left of the battlefield)
Ashiga - kajimi
Crimson Dawn - Toshara
