How to unlock the The heavier they fall achievement in Star Wars Outlaws - Definitive Guide

This is triggered by attacking tie fighters in space enough to spawn a raider ship. Make sure you have shields, missiles and your main gun upgrades to the max. Target its guns which are targeted automatically and blow it away. I'd recommend taking out a gun, then boosting away and coming back once your shields recover. Will take you about 5 minutes.

If you seriously aggro the Empire on a planet’s surface and reach a level 6 Wanted level, the Empire will send numerous kill squads after you, and, of course, the Death Troopers event will trigger. However, if you piss them off in space, a whole different ball game plays out.

Instead of having to kill the 3 Death Troopers and their Imperial Officer, when you’re in space, the Empire will send a Raider unit after you - one of the Empire’s most powerful ships. And boy is it tanky. So, firstly, before you try this, make sure you have a fully upgraded Trailblazer (Might want to buckle up trophy_bronze.png); and if possible, have unlocked the Loop Maneuver, which you get from Rooster Trace (The Mercenary Expert) by defeating 15 TIE Interceptors; 12 enemy ships; and completing a space Smuggler contract - although this isn’t necessary.

Then, when you’re ready, take to the skies… preferably one with an Empire base there (like Akiva). Once you get to level 6, a Manhunt will kick off, and this aforementioned Raider will come after you, and this guy hits hard!

The key to this fight is two-fold: 1. Avoid the missiles (either by dodging, using the Loop Maneuver, or the CO-BA Countermeasure); and 2. Destroying its targeting system by manually shooting at its various glowing yellow weak spots.

I recommend using the free fire on this beast, and coming in for sweeping attacks. So, fly at it, shoot its weakspots, fly past it, avoid its fire to let the shields recharge, and then Loop Maneuver to do the same again.

It’s not too hard if you’re patient, so just don’t get too greedy. Watch your shields, watch your hull, save your repair until you’re on death’s door, and get good at dodging. Do that and you’ll be fine and will unlock ‘The heavier they fall’ with ease.

This can be triggered by defeating the Gozanti-class cruiser that shows up in space when you have a high wanted level.

Take down it's shields and target the glowing spots with your lasers and missiles until it explodes.

This will be much easier once you have upgraded the Trailblazer's weapons and shields.

If you get in trouble boost away until your shields and armor recharge.

This is ship based combat. Whilst not a huge ordeal, having upgraded shields/hull and missiles will make this much smoother.

There is an imperial base in orbit around Toshara, you are guaranteed to find a few TIE fighters to attack. Open fire, take your time and allow them to call in re-enforcements, start defeating TIE fighters as they come at you.

As your wanted level rises to 4/5 the empire will start sending Cruisers. Defeat these and it should jack your wanted level to 6, and a Raider warship will spawn in.

The raider itself is not massively problematic to defeat. If you have the loop ability you can complete attack runs from far out, fire missiles, speed past the raider and loop back and repeat.

Once you've taken the raider apart, you may need to jump to another system to have your wanted status cleared and the trophy unlocked.
