How to unlock the Jedi Master achievement in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Definitive Guide

Go through entire level on apprentice and first 2 parts of boss.

After the floor falls through for the second time change to your desired difficulty
------LET HIM KILL YOU------
Then change back to apprentice to continue the fight (not necessary just makes it easier)
------DONT DIE AGAIN------
Once the boss is dead the achievement of the desired difficulty will be yours.
Pause the game when the achievement pops and exit.
Then choose continue game and you will be at the start of the fight and you will be in the difficulty you chose for the achievement so just change rinse and repeat.

P.S I just used lightning on him in apprentice and he went down quickly it took me all of 10 mins to get all 4 difficulty achievements

I have found out there is a hidden requirement

Perfect solution. You really do not need to change the difficulty after dying, it is just to make things easier. The catch is that the game registers that you've played it on a given difficulty after you die, so if you managed to die again you'd have to redo the process, changing the difficulty and dying again.

There are 3 things you need to know to get this achievement and this solution has 2 of them, making it the best solution and gets a +ve vote from me. What this solution doesn't tell you is that this achievement has a hidden requirement that you must first complete the main game on any difficulty. The solution would also be easier to read if it wasn't written as a single sentence ;)

Thanks! This worked and seemed less convoluted than the solution that has more positive votes. I can also confirm that this works on the Ultimate Sith edition of the game when played off of the bonus disc. One other thing I wanted to add was that I have not yet beaten the campaign on Star Wars The Force Unleashed so the Sith Master difficulty is not yet available until you do so. I believe that once you beat the Force Unleashed on any difficult the Sith Master difficulty is unlocked for the DLC.

Apparently, skipping the "Let him kill you" step isn't an option; no Achievement for switching to Sith Master at the start of Stage 3 and then legitimately beating him without dying...

Requires the Jedi Temple DLC.

Simply beat this bonus mission on the Sith Master difficulty. To start this mission, you must make a new game. It should then allow you to choose either the Jedi Temple or the normal game.

There is a glitch that makes this achievement stupid easy to get. Unlike the main storyline difficulty achievements, there isn't a check to see if you changed the difficulty. Because of this, you can start playing at the Apprentice difficulty and switch to Sith Master via the Options menu just before beating the Sith Warrior.

Unfortunately, this achievement doesn't unlock the lower achievements.

Note: There is a possibility that you will need to reach the 3rd part of the battle (the part after he was throwing the large column pieces at you) change the difficulty to the desired dificulty, allow yourself to die, change the difficulty back to apprentice, take his health down until you see the prompt to start the quick time event, change the difficulty back, and then beat him. I had trouble getting it to unlock if I didn't do this.

If any of you are having problems with having the option to play on Sith Master on the Jedi Temple DLC like i did simply go to single player and enter the very first level and enter in the code SITHSPAWN and it will unlock for you.

*THE DIFFICULTY ACHIEVEMENTS DO NOT STACK AND REQUIRE 4 PLAYTHROUGHS*

1. You start off in the hull of your ship, walk forward and it will open and you freefall to land on a platform below.
Kill all the enemies (easiest with force repulse, hold + ) then walk up the platform towards the huge doors, Use your force grip () on the 2 huge swords across the door and push them all the way up until they lock into place and the door will unlock.

2. The next room is an entrance hall, move towards the back and defeat all the enemies as you go, at then end will be a huge statue. Use your force grip () to pull off parts of the statue.

Turn around so the statue is behind you and move forward and enter the door on your left. Follow the path around and enter the next room.

3. This is the training room, see 'Robot Parts' for how to clear this room. Once it's cleared, walk through the new door you opened and follow the path around until you are in front of the huge statue again.
Use your force grip () on the platform up and to your left and straighten it out, once this has been done return to the entrance hall, across from where you just re-entered the entrance hall is another doorway that is blocked off, destroy the blockage with force lightning, () follow the corridor round and enter the museum.

4. This is the room you can get the 'As The World Turns' achievement in, you do not need to kill any enemies in this room you can simply run past them and about halfway along the corridor on your right is a corridor you go though.

Follow the corridor and fall down and you will again be in front of the huge statue, destroy a couple of pieces of the side of the statue with your force push () and the statue will collapse, now head all the way back to the entrance hall.

You will now be able to jump across the gap where the statue once was, keep moving forward till you get a cutscene with your father and you enter the trials.

5a First section of the trials is where you can get the 'Get A Grip' achievement, once you have completed this section you then move on to trial 2.
5b In this section of the trials you have to use your force grip () to move the platforms into place so you can move along until you get to the 3rd trial the boss.

5c This boss isn't very hard at all and i didn't really have any trouble with him on any difficulty.
In part 1, I used a combination of force lightning () and the ,, combo until you get to activate a quick time event to move onto the next section.

He has all the same abilities as you. (i.e. lightning repulse) He also has a a shockwave attack where he jumps in the air and slams down, and an attack that causes all of your buttons to change (very annoying)

Once you have moved onto the next section he will be in front of you, floating in the air with 2 boulders on either side of him. He will throw these at you, teleport near you and unleash his shockwave attack, and then teleport back to his starting position.
The easiest way to do this section is hit him with force lightning, () then dodge the 4 boulders he throws at you, and when he teleports to you, move away and then repeat this process. When he has taken so much damage you will fall through the floor and enter the 3rd and final section of the boss.

The 3rd section is very similar to the first except he has 1 new attack where he traps you in a vortex which will do damage, however if you hit the button quick enough you will escape it.
Keep using force lightning () until his health is nearly all gone and you will be able to start off a final quick time event and defeat him.

Note: The difficulty trophies do not stack. You will have to complete the temple on each difficulty to get each trophy.

When you drop out of the ship, you'll land on a platform swarming with Imperials. Spam Force Repulse to knock as many of them off the platform as you can. You'll deal with a variety of stormtroopers here, including incinerator troopers, jump troopers, and regular stormtroopers. Use Force Repulse, Force Grip, and Force Push to knock as many of them off as you can. Use Force Lightning on the jump troopers. Once you make your up the bridge towards the Jedi Temple, you'll encounter some dark troopers and a purge trooper. Use the same strategy of trying to knock them off the platform. Use Force Grip to rotate the giant lightsabers and open the doors.

Once inside, you'll have to deal with more dark troopers and jump troopers. After you deal with all of them, you'll want to cross the chasm in front of you, but there's a giant statue blocking your route. On the left and right sides of the rooms are doorways that you'll have to go through. Facing the way you did when you first entered the room, go through the right door first (you'll have to use Force Grip to open it). You'll enter a training room with combat droids. See Robot Parts for more details.

Once you're through there, go through the newly opened door and raise the bent bridge up using Force Grip. Go back the way you came and go to the door on the left side. Use Force Lightning to break apart the rubble blocking your way. Once you break it up, you'll come to another door that you have raise. Beyond that door is the museum. See As the World Turns for more details. Once you defeat all of the enemies here, go through the hallway in the last alcove on the right side. You'll find yourself on a platform like before, but this time use Force Push a few times to knock pieces out of the statue. After that, head back to the main room where you started. Double jump and dash (X X L1) across the chasm, and go through the doorway to begin the Jedi trials.

After a cutscene, you'll be on a platform and you'll have to move a blue orb along a line using Force Grip. See Get a Grip for more details. Once you're through that section, you'll have to move broken pieces of bridges into some fog to make them appear using Force Grip. You'll have to move quickly because the platforms will fall if you stand on them for too long.

Now, you get to meet the boss of the Jedi Temple. He has all of the same attacks as you except for a couple of additions. The new attacks that you haven't seen are health drain aura (only when he changes to another form), where he catches you in a vortex (spam O to get out of it), and an attack that changes the buttons on your controller (good luck). There are three stages to this battle and the game saves after each one. Use Force Lightning and your combos a lot. Once you're done with him, enjoy the ending.

Just like with the 360, none of these require you play the DLC from start to finish on this difficulty.

All you need to do is play the DLC on easy and do the following:

1.) Get to the 3rd stage of the Starkiller boss battle
2.) Pause the game, go to the options screen and change the difficulty to whatever you wish
3.) Save the game
4.) Quit the game and go back to the title screen
5.) Hit continue from the title screen

You will be back at the 3rd stage of the boss battle. Then you just beat Starkiller and the achievement will pop. These difficulty achievements do not stack, so after you beat it on the difficulty you selected wait for the trophy to pop and quickly go back to the title screen before the game can save. Hit continue again and, once the game starts, repeat steps 2 thru 5 once more for the next difficulty, and so on.

• DLC Jedi Temple Mission Pack = 400 rub. (870 Mb)
___________________________________________________ ______________________________

There are two ways to access the SITH MASTER difficulty for this expansion:
• Or complete the original STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED campaign
• Or start the original STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED campaign,
in the game press START
select INPUT CODE
enter SITHSPAUN
leave the game by exiting to the main menu.

The seventh ( story ) achievement that can be obtained in this add-on.
When you first start, in the main menu:
NEW GAME (new game)
Any save slot
JEDI TEMPLE (this add-on)
APPRENTICE (easiest difficulty)
This addition consists of only one location.

On the easiest difficulty APPRENTICE we go through the entire location and the first two phases of the “boss”.
After the floor is destroyed a second time and you are faced with a boss fight again, press START
select OPTIONS
go to the GAME tab
change the difficulty (DIFFICULTY) to SITH MASTER.

Let the "boss" eliminate your "hero".

Option 1: After the save point automatically reloads, you can change the difficulty back to APPRENTICE (this is not necessary, but it may be easier to eliminate the “boss”), but in this case you CANNOT die. After eliminating the "boss", the game will think that you have completed the expansion on SITH MASTER difficulty, and the achievement will unlock.

Option 2: After the save point is automatically reloaded, you can continue finishing off the “boss” on SITH MASTER difficulty. You can die.
