How to unlock the Launched achievement in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Definitive Guide

Easy. Just start a new game where your Darth Vader, on Apprentice difficulty. And In the bridge where all the wookies keep spawning jump and then use the LightSaber in the air. (A then X) after around 10 minutes you'll get the Launched Achivement.

If possible try to push enemies off the bridge when u hit the ground, not sure if counts but that how I did it.

Does NOT work. I did the jumping slam over and over again at the bridge, killing Wookiees with it, and not only did I not get the achievement, I actually RAN OUT OF WOOKIEES - they stopped spawning, and still no achievement.

If you run out of wookies before this pops, save the game, exit, and then Continue from the main menu. The kills for these achievements are cumulative, but only on their own save slot. New saves/different save slots will not have the same kill count.

Right from the get go of the jedi academy dlc, you will jump right out of you're ship, hold the ( X) to leaping slam down to the landing pad filled with 15+ troopers. Rinse and repeat until you are rewarded with you're launched achievement!!!

And on a side note u can make yourself move while falling ( i,e jump while exiting the ship, force push and so on)to bulls eye the landing pad to hit more troops at once!!

Where is a good place for this if you don't own the DLC?

I might suggest the first level, the room with all of the storm troopers and then they respawn coming up on the elevator. U just simply wait for the door to open jump in, hold lb and x and rinse and repeat

Downvote. This does not work. Reloaded this part over 20 times and got no achievement. Looked at the combo for this move (Leaping Slam) in-game and LB is not even a part of it. Started doing it just holding X. Another 10 reloads and still no achievement.

Can confirm it does work, it's A then X you need to be pressing. Took me about 10 mins using the Jedi Academy dlc.

Mister Buds, perhaps you did not save after each one. Need to save then reload.

I struggled because you dont hold down the A button. Press A button once and then hold down the X button. I make sure i save after the kills and then i fall out of the area and restart. Hopefully it unlocks this way.

takes awhile because the attack is kinda weak so you need multiple jumps but great solution

Works just fine here, no need to save and reload just jump off the edge to your death when the enemies are mostly cleared out.

Just like in JonObed's solution, start a new game on Apprentice difficulty to play as Vader. Right in the beginning of the level, there is a giant wooden door you have to force push to knock down. Immediately after that, there should be a tree on the right. The unique thing about this tree is that an infinite amount of Storm troopers spawn close to the tree. So just park yourself next to that tree and spam your A then X attack and you should kill them while they spawn.Your spot doesn't have to be exact but once you see where they are appearing you can judge for yourself where you should stand. NOTE: You shouldn't have to move but sometimes the Stormtroopers spawn closer to the door and don't run at you. What you should do counter this is when you start to notice a lack of green orbs coming in, turn around and kill the sitting troopers then return to your spot and turn your back to them. IMPORTANT: Make sure when you're standing in your spot that your back is to the broken door ( have the camera facing the forward path). If you're looking at the spawn, they simply won't spawn. Once you turn your back they will start spawning again. Took me about 10 minutes to farm but I needed only about 70 for this cheevo to pop so I'd have to guess about 15 minutes.

NOTE: Some storm troopers might get by you via your attack pushing them away or missing. Don't worry about them, the Wookies ahead will kill them for you.

Go to Cloud City, set it to Apprentice difficulty (works for me at least), target the light purple guards, and start spamming the combo Y+B and then hit X twice to finish it. If they vaporize when you hit X the second time, it counts as an aerial kill. When you get to Cloud City, clear out the bar, then when you hit the end of the tunnel you will hit a checkpoint. You kill those guards that first attack you, clear out that platform, and jump off a cliff (well, platform). You will get 6 guards every time, so repeat 17 times, and you have it. Might not be the best solution, but it's a solution nonetheless.

in the prologue as darth vader, after you smash the door there is an infinite spawn of stormtroopers. killing 100 by pressing cn_A+cn_X (jump then 'ground pound') gets the Launched achievement. you can also kill 100 of them by tapping cn_Y for

same as other solutions, just wanted to show how i got them to spawn on top of me as i killed them.

See “Lightning Shield Mastery” trophy.
Note: Jay-Slim suggests using your ground pound move on the first non-prologue level. To execute this, find a good crowd of enemies, jump around them and then press and hold Square.

For this achievement it is easiest to kill the 100 enemies with a leaping slam. To do this jump up into the air with and then press and hold the button. You will see "leaping slam" in the corner if done correctly. You can use Vader or Starkiller to get this achievement.

Also can only be obtained in the prologue, playing as Vader, after taking the elevator, going further, there will be several towers that are connected by several suspension bridges. Stand in one of these towers, get kills, just press jump and hold off the blow with a lightsaber everything will take about 10-15 minutes.
