How to unlock the Sith Lord achievement in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Definitive Guide

I know there's a few threads already, but the info is spread out so sporadically, I just wanted to say that it's May 2017, and I just got the Sith Master achv, using cheats.

On Xbox One.

I did 2 legit playthroughs already, so don't bother whining to me.

* Start a new game on Sith Master.
* Play and BEAT the first level (as Darth Vader).
* Start playing the first real level as Starkiller.

In the hallways with the droids, before facing any enemies, enter your cheat codes:
These are the cheats I used:

KATARN All Force Powers Unlocked and Maxed
ADEGAN All saber throw ranks unlocked
JOCASTA All Talents Unlocked
LIGHTSABER Amplified Damage
RAGNOS Combo Unlock
MOLDYCROW Unlocks All Force Combos

(DO NOT USE: EXARKUN Maximum Force Push. Note: disables saves and may block some unlockables)
* Now you need to get to a checkpoint, so I played until I got RIGHT PAST the first room with the hanging Tie Fighters on the ceiling and you have to use force power to open the door (2 locks). Then the game saves.

* Go a little further and let yourself die (in the "communications" looking room with red omnicron in the center).

* When you respawn, manually SAVE the game.

* Exit to XB1 dash, force quit the game. (I've also read you can just go to main menu, but THIS is what I did and it worked).

* Start the game, DON'T click "CONTINUE GAME" - instead click "LOAD GAME" - and manually load your Sith Master game.

You will now have all the cheats still enabled, and you can still get achvs.
I ran through the entire game, speedrun style, on Sith Master, in 1 sitting. It took over an hour (maybe less than 2), because even fully leveled up, bosses just have so much health on Sith difficulty, it's time consuming killing them.

(I read that the LIGHTSABER cheat does not save if you exit the game and come back - but I did in 1 sitting so I cannot confirm)

But MOST of the game, you can just RUN RIGHT PAST. You do not need to kill 95% of all enemies! Every so often I would use FORCE REPULSE to kill large groups to refill my health, that's it. I really only killed bosses.

6/21 EDIT: ANOTHER NOTE: Even after you beat the game, if you want to mop up other achvs, you can level hop and the cheats remain active.

I can confirm that this works! Great guide. I went with the Emperor at the end once you get his pattern down it's not that bad of a fight.

This solution did not work for me. I died in the specified room. When I respawned, I went to save manually and was told that saving has been disabled.

Does it matter WHEN the cheats are enabled?

@Woodrow. Yes. You have to do it in the exact order, and the exact timeframe that I wrote out. This is because when you enter cheats the game disables saving and all achievements. However, doing as I described above (how and when I say), will glitch the game and you will be able to get ACHVS! (the way to test is make sure you can save).

It does not state when to activate the cheats just what ones you used

After beating the first level. Once you start the "first real level as Starkiller" you can enter the cheats" (ie. in the hallway with all the droids, before you face any enemies).

You can look at the walkthrough above as a timeline. Do this, then this, then this.

BUT! For clarity, I added a note above. Thanks.

I've just done it and says saving has been disabled

It says saving is disabled AFTER you completed allt he steps? Or immediately after entering the cheats. Once you die and reload the Save option should appear.

I can only suggest starting a new game and trying again. This is not my method, I just compiled a bunch of other peoples' posts on here and other sites. It worked for me and other people. Luckily!! The first level is fairly quick before you get to Starkiller.

Glad it worked! Give me a positive vote if you can, this is my first solution =]

So it turns out it did work. My bad. After respawning, I couldn't manually save ("Saving has been disabled"). However, somehow it still saved. I was able to load up a save which starts right where I respawned. The cheats are enabled and I have unlocked one achievement so far.

I just assumed I failed because it was telling me I couldn't save. But now I can save (once I've loaded this c heat-treated save file).

So yeah, thumbs up to this solution.

Maybe they patched this because I can't do it:(
It keeps telling me saving has been disabled.

Follow all the steps, in the same order written, exactly as it's written and proceed. It's very important that you die when are where advised.

Worked fine for me. I’m currently on Imperial Raxus Prime beating up on Darth Maul. Hope to be done later tonight

I beat the game on Sith back when it first launched, but I'm upvoting just because it's a brilliant workaround and I definitely would have used it if I was just starting it up today.

@Arador, Yes. This method has been around since 360. Luckily it also works on the XB1 as well.

Did everything in perfect order as specified twice, when I load my game I’m in the hallway with the droids and I have no cheats active.

Figured it out: you have to put in a costume unlock cheat as your last cheat and it will work.

DOES NOT WORK. Like GroudonGo above, I did everything exactly as specified, but it brought me back to the level start with no cheats. UNLIKE GroudonGo, adding a costume unlock code at the end of the code inputting step DID NOT fix the issue.

My only way to get the Sith Lord/Master achievements is to try to GIT GUD and do it the old-fashioned way. And if I can't, then, I'm just not a good enough gamer to 100% this game's achievements...

@DKN117, people above have said it doesn't work or was patched out, and later they come back and say they were doing it wrong. Or something else says it worked, and they did it at a later date.

This game is really really old. They aren't updating it. It's worth starting over, following exactly and trying again. Try reading the comments as well as some people have suggestions for slightly alternate steps that worked for them.

Would I still be able to get the achievement if I use a previously completed game save and just play the missions 1 by 1?

It comes up saying this will disable the save option and achievements (this is in the first room with the robots) I just continue and follow the rest of the guide, kill myself and once I respawn to save it says it is disabled

Does it HAVE to be on that difficulty or can it be any?

This is the second most difficult setting in the game. This setting is available as soon as you begin the game. Since the difficulty achievements are stackable, there is really no reason to play the game on this setting other than for fun.

Start a new game and set the difficulty to third.
