How to unlock the Space Police achievement in Starlink: Battle for Atlas - Definitive Guide

Defeat five Outlaw Hideouts, a defeat means you have destroyed all the turrets, shot all the ships and finally flow in inside and picked up the salvage. Picking the salvage is the thing that acts as the counter for this Achievement.

When you defeat enough Outlaws on planet surfaces, Shaid will radio in and tell you that she's marked their space-based hideouts on your map. These appear as purple icons. To get this achievement you'll need to find and destroy five of them. The ones around the Trade and Frontier sectors are lower in difficulty than the ones in the Dark Sector, so for the easiest time of this, start there.

Space pirate hideouts are similar to Dreadnought battles, but with far more gun turrets and Outlaw raiders - including the chief outlaw themselves, who will fly out to fight you in a heavily-shielded ship once you've destroyed all of their turrets. As with all space battles, homing missile weapons like Frost Barrage and Nullifier will make short work of enemy ships. Beat the outlaws and you'll be able to enter the ship and loot their treasure, which will "neutralize" the hideout and count for this achievement.

On the planets, you will periodically encounter “purple” ships that will attack the legion, outposts and interfere in every possible way. After you destroy several ships, you are told that they have located the location of their lair in space and that it would be a good idea to pay them a courtesy visit. After that, fly into space and there you will see an object with a purple icon, the same as on the trophies. Upon arrival, you will have two stages, the first is the destruction of the cannons that guard the lair, the second is the destruction of the boss and his minions. After destroying the boss, you will need to fly inside the shelter and collect the reward. Repeat this process five times and the trophy is yours. You may not immediately fly to a shelter after discovering it; criminals from different shelters usually operate on planets, and after clearing the planet, two or three points you need will probably appear in the surrounding area.
