How to unlock the Badass achievement in State of Decay - Definitive Guide
This achievement is not that hard it just takes a while. The only advice I can give you is that you should always have medicine to heal you and have stamina restores. i got this in around four hours. Just rest if you have to, but for a mission to count it has to be
1.Story Missions
2.Gathering supplies
3.Helping people in your group solve their emotional problems
4.Helping people in other groups eliminate infestations, ferals, etc.
Also for weapons try to keep ammo on you at all times and try to have a good melee weapon if possible your stats will raise which will help you survive.
I believe you have to use Marcus for this achievement. I used him and got it and other people say they had to use him too.

Not that i know of. I just tried surviving as long as I could. If other people you play as die this does not matter. It only matters about the person you are trying to get 50 with

Hello, everyone, to start off this is my very first Achievement Guide ever. So if I make any mistakes or if you need more clarity, simply let me know. And I will attempt to remedy it.
NOTE: in order for this solution to work, you must own the Breakdown DLC.
What you have to do is start up a breakdown game, or play your existing game if that applies, and simply complete the 50 missions and activities with ANY survivor. I wasn't even trying to get this and it popped for me after completing a Fear Itself cheer-em-up activity.
I'm not sure if it has any effect or not but I was playing as a hero at the time, Eli Wilkerson. I had recruited him during the game, not selected him from the start. So, you may have to play as a hero but I don't believe so. If anyone can confirm otherwise, lease let me know.
This method means you don't have to be using Marcus to get it. I hope this will help someone here.

You need to stick with Marcus for this and do at least 50 total quests, side quests, missions, rescues, etc. They do not need to be consecutive (you can change characters whenever you want, as long as you change back to finish the remaining quests). You will most likely get this around the time you reach the town with the Courthouse, but if not there are plenty of missions that pop up during the game, just make sure you do them.

The achievement is quite simple.
There is, perhaps, only one obstacle - Feral (or "Savage"); a rather dangerous type of zombie that can easily deal with you on its own.
By avoiding it, as well as constantly monitoring your health and energy, you will quickly complete this “achievement”, and you will also almost completely upgrade your character!
