State of Decay

This achievement will most likely happen through natural progression of the game but it can be hard to find in the menu if you don't know where to look.

I choose the Bladed Weapon Melee specialization. I got this by becoming level 7 in fighting, then scrolling down the skills page to find specializations, and selecting Bladed Weapons Melee. You press X, then it will ask you to confirm by holding X.

You can explore what each upgrade is by clicking A on the skill, but to unlock it, you must meet the requirements and press X.

I got a good deal into the game before realizing that the character detail page was bigger than it showed. To access it simply hit up on the D Pad, RB to move to right, then scroll to the bottom of the skills list and keep going down. There will be all kinds of things to choose and edit as your character levels up their abilities. Keeping in mind that if they are too low of a level that there won't be anything to find there.

You will gain this from natural progression but you need to play as a character who is quite new so you can set their skill to learn! So I chose blunt weapons since he had blunts on him. So just do the same with your choice when you finally play as a more new character!

I didn't notice this was possible until I picked someone without their own skill, so just pick anyone who can learn a skill. They will be presented as a long column in black and red at the bottom of the skills section, you can get to it using the D-pad.

Please notice in the video my character had no level 7 skills at all, so I am not sure how I got around that. But from what I read you may need level 7 to do this.

Very easy achievement to enact aswell simply press X to win and you will hear it pop!

I would recommend grinding this achievement in the tutorial with Marcus. Simply make it to the ranger station parking lot and sprint in a circle. Zombies won't spawn here and daylight is perpetual. It won't take that long to get to skill level 7 netting you 2 achievements after picking your special skill. (I picked the one that slows down combat stamina drain)


Edit: You can scrounge for some snacks to speed this up.
