State of Decay: Year-One

This is an achievement for 1 of the 2 alternate endings.

In order to get this achievement you must rescue civilians that are being relayed by a lady on the radio. This lady is Vienna Cho and in order to get her to join your community you must earn her trust which is done by safely evacuating civilians. Eventually she will call for help at which point you can rescue her and bring her back to your community.

If Sasquatch is in your community and you met all the requirements to trigger the option of arming the nuke, you will have a mission with Vienna where you are tasked with disarming the nuke from being detonated.

Disarming the nuke will reward you with this achievement however it will void the other achievement where you must detonate the nuke.

It is also possible to get the achievement by having Vienna Cho in your community and ignoring Sasquatch's missions or him being dead.

**There is a way to unlock the achievements for both endings in one play though by using the cloud save as a backup. Get to the end of the game where you have Vienna Cho in your community AND have the option of arming the nuke. Once you are at this point, disconnect from Xbox Live and continue playing offline.

Complete the criteria for either of the achievements and wait til the game loads back up into the title screen after the credits. Delete the save for State of Decay off of your console and then connect back to Xbox Live. Once you boot up the game again, you will be awarded the achievement for having completed the criteria. Now just go for the other achievement while connected to Xbox Live and you saved yourself ~5 hours.
