Launch the rocket without building any turrets

How to unlock the Yup. achievement in SteamWorld Build - Definitive Guide
The best (and surest) way to complete this objective is to simply lay zero traps whatsoever as when I did a run with only fire turrets or thumpers the achievement didn’t unlock (I’m assuming the thumpers are in this case the “floor traps”.)
**I haven’t personally tested a run with only flame turrets.
HOWEVER! After you’ve completed a few missions you should have a good idea of what’s required. Start a game on the map of your choice, the first is generally easiest, and set the difficulty to easy.
Play through the game without building any of the aforementioned traps at all! You should build one large plot of guards to maximize defense against enemies and they’ll do the job easily alone without the need for any turrets. I was only utilizing around ~20 guards when I finished my run.
Some useful tips I’ve learned along the way!

Some useful tips I’ve learned along the way!
- If the traps still have the exclamation mark on them, you can then be sure you haven’t gone anywhere near any of them!
- Once you’ve cleared a floor of all the mineable blocks, you can entirely destroy the miners on that level and recoup items.
- There are no enemies on the first level of the mines, so don’t bother with any traps or guards.
- Employ the conveyor belts! They’ll be your best friend! They transport the items without the need for prospectors to collect them, thus stopping them from getting eaten whilst running around!
- If you’re struggling, complete maps to unlock the unique building rewards which you can build on new maps, each providing unique rewards!
- Remember to bring your items down the mine with you the further you go and slot them into each of the 3 slots you’re given.
- Build bigger zones for each unit type rather than smaller multiple areas, you won’t have to use as many slottable items that way.
- Focus on exploring the mines and collecting the rocket pieces. Upgrade buildings when required as you don’t require that many scientists to complete the mission.

I am in the process of trying this one, but I would suspect that you would need to be able to build thumpers, or else the worms will make some areas of the mines inaccessible.

i can confirm that thumpes are indeed allowed.

I did my first playthrough with just flame and thumpers as I wasnt familiar with the game and was just avoiding something caller "floor trap" and it didnt unlock. Next one I did with only using thumpers and it unlocked.

Floor trap is the fire turret - it raises from the floor when triggered.
Transport pads, thumpers, and speed pads are all fine to use.
Just do 25 guards, 12 mechanics, and multiple transport pads to each spawn point - you can survive indefinitely.

Your tactics, manipulations on the market. And also build an exceptionally huge number of rooms for guards. To make their task easier, make corridors and no more than a battle zone. Otherwise, there may be cases when the sheriff comes too early or he is simply surrounded, beaten to death. (your units can easily shoot at range and distance)
Important, beetles for example can easily pass through rocks. Therefore, build corridors near the spawn of enemies.

It's done very simply on the lowest difficulty:
1) In the dungeons we build spacious guard barracks 12-15 robots, improvements can be several of the same type (for example, a revolver, flamethrower and shovel)
2) do not dig up the rocket parts until the very end - this will not trigger waves of enemies after digging up on the 2nd and 3rd floors
Only 2 parts on each floor.
You can dig simultaneously on the 2nd and 3rd floors, if you immediately start digging the second part on the floor, this will prevent a wave.
3) and optionally: you can start digging after you have accumulated 100 fuel in the warehouse (or a little less, depending on what kind of production you have). We put the warehouse near the rocket and after assembly we only wait for refueling, in fact it doesn’t matter what will happen in the dungeons.
