It requires very specific steps be done in order and is very easy to mess up; I had to do this in a second playthrough due to a couple of minor errors. This achievement is awarded for completing "In Memory of Dauphin," which you start the game with. Be aware, this contains spoilers.

complete the quest in San Cloud, kill the royal harp, then in Versailles we collect 3 echoes, you will receive the achievement only after collecting all the echoes, the last one is before the penultimate lever on the right

gist: a letter from the queen will appear in the carriage; head back to Saint Cloud.
run there, kill the boss (by the mark), then follow the story to Versailles
(it is MANDATORY to collect all other echoes before sending! Otherwise you won’t return and will ruin your save)
in Versailles you find 3 echoes of the trophy ding.
