How to unlock the Bishop: Cité achievement in Steelrising - Definitive Guide

The Bishop fight is one where keeping your distance is going to be more beneficial and waiting till a clear opening to get in some real damage. My number one recommendation is to try not to have less than half your total amount of endurance as you'll need to be able to go on the defensive the minute the Bishop starts up its buzzsaw attacks (you'll understand soon enough).

I defeated the Bishop using the Hephaestus Batons, the Franklin Claws, and a bunch of grenades - so it's possible to fight the Bishop up close and personal, however be ready to back off immediately once the Buzzsaw blades start moving.

- [b]Immediately when the fight starts get ready to dodge out of the way of the bible that will come straight for your face once the beginning cutscene ends. The Bishop holds a huge bible in its right hand with a hook attached that if you were too slow dodging to the side (not sure if it can be blocked), will snatch you up inside the bible and proceed to beat some religion into you before spitting you out like a bad taste. This does alot of damage so do try to avoid it, the Bishop only ever did this move twice more for me but be prepared for anything nonetheless.
- The Bishop has a staff in its left hand that is constantly going to try squash you like a bug, though it is easy enough to dodge/block/parry. The Bishop will slam and swing the staff around several times before flopping over in exhaustion, so assuming you aren't parrying you can just wait till the Bishop tires himself (grenades are good to throw here to inflict extra damage and build-up an affliction) and get some good hits in.

- If you have been stashing grenades for boss fights, bring some with you as this will buy you alot more time to inflict some serious damage. The Bishop is very weak to frost, fulmination and petrification grenades - though the latter is more beneficial for the players with Agile builds that specialise in dealing lots of immobilisation damage. I highly recommend using the frost grenades as the Bishop stays frozen for around 10 seconds, giving you a great window of opportunity to deal some serious damage. I would also throw some fulmination grenades and inflict the fulmination status on the Bishop as while the status is active the Bishop will temporarily take more damage.

- In the second phase of this fight (after losing 3 health chunks) the Bishop will start utilising its buzzsaw blades. The blades will spin violently around in circles as the bishop rolls around the map trying to get within arms reach of Aegis. This buzzsaw attack lasts almost 15 seconds and the Bishop will relentlessly chase you, so dodge/block/parry and do whatever you must to stay away from those blades. When the 15 or so seconds is up the Bishop will flop over again giving you yet another perfect attack window, but ready to counter the next attack once the Bishop has cooled off.
- Aside from that, its the same as the first phase but the Bishop smacks the staff down a little more ferociously now. The Bishop will also exhaust himself a little more and flop over/burn out more often. Also expect the bible to come for you once or twice as well.

- You'll know when you hit the final phase as the Bishop will throw a little tantrum and set his weapons on fire. What you need to be fully aware of in this phase is that when the Bishop starts his spinning buzzsaw blade attack this time he will leave a trail of fire behind him wherever he goes, so make sure that you are dodging in different directions to avoid the trail of fire which can set you on fire very quickly.
- All the previous attack patterns are the same but with fire added to them. I highly recommend freezing the Bishop in this phase to dispatch him quicker and safer.

Congrats on your new trophy and ability, and don't leave without looting the Bishop :)
