How to unlock the Legendary legend! achievement in STEEP - Definitive Guide
I wouldn't recommend going for this until you've completed all the challenges with gold medals. But if you really want to finish this achievement before completing the challenges, here's what you can do to finish up each discipline.
In order to increase the XP for each discipline, you can beat challenges of the corresponding color (the color on the banner while looking at the challenge in mountain view), or you can perform a Memorable Moment that falls under that category. These are the events that cause a message to pop up in the bottom right corner of the screen with the corresponding color.
Freestyle
The most easily repeatable Memorable Moment is the 2000 points in a single jump. Go to the Cliff Drop challenge in Mont Blanc at 3956N, 4991W. I found that jumping to the right of the challenge start made for a more consistent landing spot. Do flips and spins with a grab and as long as you land it you should get over 2,000 points most of the time. Keep retrying until you finish up your yellow bar.
Bone Collector
This one you probably won't even need to try to get. You get these simply by crashing and crashing hard. Using the wingsuit to fly hard into walls and also crashing just before the finish and ragdolling through the finish marker of challenges will help with this one as well.
Explorer
All you have to do to finish this one is use the guides here for finding all of the Drop Zones and Points of Interest. If somehow you're still short even after you find everything, you can get some green XP by riding for 6 minutes continuously.
Pro Rider
You can get a decent chunk of light blue XP every time you beat one of your previous personal best scores on a challenge and also for "crushing" the gold score, meaning you scored way above what was required for gold.
Extreme Rider
The most easily repeatable Memorable Moment for orange XP is Skating on Thin Ice. You get this one by draining your g-force impact meter almost completely but managing not to crash for several seconds. The colors on the screen will fade and it will play a high pitched sound when you're about to crash due to g-forces. Maintain this state for a few seconds without crashing and you'll get 400 orange XP. A challenge with a lot of speed where you can get this fairly often is the Jones Challenge Freedom in Mont Blanc at 3559N, 1841W. You can also get some orange XP for a jump of 60m, which you'll get from time to time on the Cliff Drop challenge mentioned above for Freestyle, so that's a good challenge to work on two disciplines at once.
Free Rider
The most easily repeatable Memorable Moment for dark blue XP is riding for 3 minutes without crashing. This is easy to do on the Orientation Salomon Challenge in Tyrol at 3315S, 6651E. Just keep riding down the mountain taking it easy and making sure not to crash and you'll get 300xp after 3 minutes.
If anyone finds better challenges for these or more consistent Memorable Moments that are easy to trigger repeatedly, let me know and I'll add them to the solution.

Question for Bone collector I will get the little notifications for crashing and such, but my xp point tracker will not change. Am I doing something wrong or am I misunderstanding how you earn bone collector xp? I am stuck on the last level of bone collector like a 1/4 of the way to master

For bone collector: Human canon, you get 700 every try, and you always get gold
For extreme rider: The timed easy wingsuit challenge of 30 seconds(i dont know the name in English) you can get 500xp every half minute
For explorer: If you have the rocket wingsuit just press rt and ride anywhere, you get 200xp in less then a minute for doing nothing
For freerider: A lovely day seem to be the easier and faster, 500 xp in less than a minute

Each event has its own distinction of expertise. Going for the gold medal in every event will help towards this trophy, as all experience gained in events goes towards it's respective expertise. The six fields of expertise can be checked at any time by pressing at any time then pressing . The following will explain each field:
-
Freestyler: Yellow events dealing with tricks, generally dealing with serious down-hill lines and snow parks. Make sure you mix up your tricks and try to get your combo-multiplier up without wiping out to keep it there.
-
Pro Rider: Light blue events dealing with mostly races with checkpoints. Just make sure you stay in the lead.
-
Bone Collector: Black colored events. These tend to be the most dangerous with the sometimes-exception of extreme. Some of these events literally are meant for you to fail (by that I mean wipe-out instantly and see who can fall to the finish first). You will break a few bones on the way down.
-
Extreme Rider: Orange events. These are the hardest, fastest-paced, throw-your-controller-through-the TV type events. They are designed for you to fail. With enough practice, you will master them and get the gold.
-
Explorer: Not an event-oriented expertise. This comes with discovering all drop-zones, and all points of interest throughout the game. See Tour guide and … and you shall find for more info.
- Freerider: Dark-blue colored events. These generally have an "A to B" feel to them. Some are all about finding the best "line" down the mountain. If you have to find the best line, try to stick to the peaks or weave in and out of obstacles (trees, rocks, cliffs etc.) to up your score.

For those who have difficulty getting a legend in the bone collector, I recommend that you climb higher (it is advisable that you fly happily ever after), jump and do some tricks. At the moment of execution, press the up button (change the time of day) and your character falls in free fall. When you land in this way, you will not gain enough 100g to die and will get knocked out in the eye, which gives as many as 1000 bone collector points

Regarding the Legend rank. All tasks in the game have their own icons (tasks in the “Bone Collector” rank are indicated by a horned skull, and there is a corresponding inscription above the difficulty level). By completing tasks of a certain color, you fill one or another rank.
In particular, with Bones, I replayed the mission “To the Head”, where you need to reach the maximum overload. For the same Explorer rank, you can replay mountain stories, such as “The Singing Spruce”, “5 Giants”, “We Trust Him”, in general, any with the corresponding diamond color.

The trophy drops almost automatically when you pass the gold test. At the end there will be a “blue plate” for free skating and it will take about an hour.

After passing all the tests for gold, I was 12,000 points short of becoming a legend in freeride...
Whoever has the same (although most likely 90% of players will have the same), you can go to Alaska/Asia (from whom you bought it) and go through the blue tests (there are just enough without difficult ones to take the legend)
