Not much a solution but a general tip that should help you with the more difficult stories (in case you haven't figured this out yet).

You can cheat the stories by changing sport.

For example: I did some challenging Wingsuit stories with paraglider (no instant KO, plenty of time to aim and you can turn back if you miss), for the Snowman challenge you can paraglide near the location and then just walk over the snowman to destroy it. Etc.

Yes it's tedious and cheap, but if you value your hair and controller then maybe try it :D.

I suggest being level 25 so you can use unlimited helicopter !
