How to unlock the The adventure of a lifetime achievement in STEEP - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement you need to complete training for the Olympics which consists of a bunch of missions. I stopped part way through and came back to the game. Look for an icon somewhere on the map that has a gold medal icon. That will be where you left off. Mine was on the Alps where the character had gone to do more training.

I’d also suggest adding that you don’t have to finish first in a lot of the competitions in the middle. You just have to place top 3 to advance unless it specifically says you have to win. Wish I’d realized this sooner as I would have saved myself a lot of retries.

I lost my quest chain at some point. Couldn't find it on the mountain
(it turned out there was a continuation in the Alps).
in any case, upon reaching either level 23 or 24, I was given a quest in the “recommended tests”.
so don’t worry or think about how to start again.
