Just a tip, you can pause and reload the last checkpoint right before you are about to die and still receive the achievement. If you die, you will have to start the chapter from the beginning.

Just FYI, to you and anyone reading this tip for any of the other don't die achiments in this game, that is not true about the reload checkpoint thing.
