How to unlock the Immortal achievement in Stela - Definitive Guide
This is not really a guide, for the achievement is pretty self-explainatory, rather a few pointers and tips.
Loading the last checkpoint before dying INVALIDATES the achievement. If you're about to die, sorry - you can't do anything about it (loading also invalidates the under 90 minutes achievement so if you're trying to snatch this combo of achievements, keep that in mind).
As recommended to me by a user @aps42, it's better to go for "Immortal" and "One Minute to Midnight" achievements separately. It saved me a lot of unnecessary frustration tied to trying to get them both.
The game has a pretty weird jump detection, this is how I died a few times, either because I pressed the button too late (at least according to the game) or didn't hold it long enough (always hold it till you've made the jump successfully, the longer you hold it the longer the jump will be). The game itself is pretty simple but this one mechanic screwed me over more than I expected after my first, blind playthrough.
The game offers a similar to Playdead's Inside and Limbo chapter/checkpoint select so use it to practice some more challanging parts of the game before attempting a no death playthrough.
There is no "New Game" option after beating the game once so in order to start it over, just load the very first chechpoint and NEVER load again during your playthrough.
Good luck! :)

This might work for the whole run but will definitely void cheevos for the individual sections, like travel through the woods without dying for example.
