On the roof of the Parking Tower in Eidos 7, after passing through the building from Silent Street, you’ll come across your first proper boss fight against Abaddon.

Abaddon is a two-phase boss fight that’s fairly easy once you nail its patterns. If you can Perfect Parry its 2 swipes in stage one, you’ll be able to get a decent amount of hits in before it goes again. Once he’s down to half health you’ll enter phase 2, where it’ll throw in some ranged attacks and buff its melee attacks with electricity, but as long as you run sideways while he charges up with the ranged attacks, you should be okay. 

While Abaddon’s combos in phase 1 were 2 attacks, they’re usually 3 in this stage. You can Perfect Parry them relatively easily though, just watch out for his blue lethal attack, and use Blink ( and , once you’ve unlocked it) to avoid it, and that’s as hard as this fight gets, in truth.

Also, as a side note, if you can inflict Groggy on him, hit to perform a Retribution attack and take a chunky amount of health off of him - something that can easily turn the tide of the boss fight in your favour.
