Like the Return to the Colony  ending, to get the Making New Memories ending to unlock, you need to have visited Eidos 9 as part of the main story (for the main quest “Secret Garden,” which unlocks before you visit Spire 4).

In order to visit Eidos 9, you need to have done enough side quests and side content (like collecting collectibles) to trigger this story quest. If you have, and you do visit Eidos 9, you can unlock the ‘Making New Memories’ trophy and ending of the same name.

In order to trigger this ending, and a fight against Providence, you need to select “Take Adam’s hand.” 

Once you do, and have defeated Providence, the ‘Making New Memories’ trophy and ending will unlock.
