How to unlock the Tachy achievement in Stellar Blade - Definitive Guide
Story-related, cannot miss.
Last, but by no means least, the final boss of Matrix 11 in the main quest, “Alpha Signal,” is none other than the next Alpha Naytiba, and your long lost buddy, Tachy, who can be found after passing through the Train Graveyard.
The Tachy fight is easily the trickiest fight of Stellar Blade up until this point. Not only is she super powerful, but she can chain attack, counterattack and dodge/dash too. She’s basically like EVE. I mean, after all, you are facing off against a mutated Airborne Squad member, so that makes sense. She's also the first boss so far to have 3 phases.
Tachy’s main attacks are basically:
- The swipe, jump back, and then lunge move. On the lunge, she'll swing 3 times and occasionally perform a blue circle attack after too.
- She also does a 3-hit combo too (swipe right, swipe down, swipe left).
- She has a charged gold swipe attack, which has a pretty big wind-up, so when she charges that up, put some distance between you and her.
- And also, another favourite combo of hers is a 1, 2, pause, and 3 hit combo. A Perfect Parry here staggers her.
Then, at 75% she'll bust her wing out, which comes with more moves to add to the original arsenal of moves.
- In this phase, she'll now throw out vertical energy projectile attacks with her Tachyon Blade, which deals serious damage if one or more connect.
- She'll also do a long-distance forward thrust jab now too.
And finally, at around 40-50% energy, you'll crash into the ground below and fight in an all-new arena.
In this phase Tachy can now disappear and appear right next to you, attacking instantly, so block or try to dodge when this happens. One of her more common attacks here involves 3 big swipes, with a brief pause between the second and third one.
As well as that Tachy now has a purple lethal attack, so Repulse that and shoot her weak spot if you're successful.
And finally, the two attacks to really watch out for are: 1. When she jumps in the air, disappearing before crashing to the ground with a massive vertical attack; and 2. When she charges and attacks with a 1, 2 attack, before pausing for a big third attack.
So long as you manage your Beta and Burst attacks here, you should manage just fine. Do enough damage to her and eventually, you'll be able to hit the button to end the fight and unlock the ‘Tachy’ trophy.
