To unlock the ‘Thorough Technician’ trophy, you’re going to need to buy every skill in all 5 skill trees:

• Attack
• Survival
• Beta
• Burst
• Tachy

So long as you’re doing all the side quests, thoroughly searching environments, and killing any enemies you come across, you should just about get this before you get to the final showdown with the Elder Naytiba. I’d honestly recommend making sure they’re maxed out before you commence the penultimate final quest (I’m not including a quest name as it’s potentially a spoiler), but honestly, thanks to the New Game Plus patch, and the fact you need 2 playthroughs to get the Platinum, I wouldn’t sweat this too much anyway.

When you have finally filled out all 5 Skill trees though, and unlocked every skill (all 96 of them), this trophy is all yours.
