In the digging game you need to find 20 cockles by mashing X a few times on the spot they are sticking out of. This games mildly glitchy but there is no timer.

This will be your second mini-game and has one achievement tied to it.

For this mini-game, you need to dig 20 spots with where the bubbles are in order to find 20 cockles. The spot you need to dig in should be in the middle of the screen.
