The Fastest way to get this is by starting a Ranked Online match. It is dead so you will need a boosting partner to get this done!!!
The person going for the achievement (As well as the 6 wins in a row) MUST be the host of the match. Have your partner join after the session is set up.
Once the match begin, simply have your partner (the loser) quit out. You will win instantly and the achievement will unlock

To unlock this achievement you must simply play 16 ranked matches, it doesn't matter whether you win or lose the match, just finish it.

can you start the match and then leave right away for it to count?

You will get this while boosting for Veteran's Affair. On your 16th match, win or lose, you will get the trophy.
